the reason for my last post!

haha.. thanks for the comments on my last post. Yes, I was really angry at the time! My son is almost 21 and is living at home and sometimes just has these crazy ideas..who knows, I probably was over reacting. He bought a couch and a love seat and was wanting to put them upstairs.. Our house is very old and the stair way is very narrow and it turns towards the top, I didnt think it was going to fit, he was trying to move it himself, no one else was home and I was sure he was going to hurt himself and get it wedged in the stairway! so I helped cause I thought I would save him from himself.. In anycase we ended up screaming at each other. i thought he should have called a friend to come help him and lucky for him, one of his buddies showed up and took over for me... They did get the darn thing stuck in his doorway and god only knows how they got it through.. there was a lot of banging going on.. He has two rooms up there, and he was trying to put together a little living room area for himself. which is fine.. but he also needed to clean up the bigger room first, which he didnt do, so when I went upstairs afterwords and saw the disaster.. I was even more ticked off! So, that is why I said that I know why mother animals eat their young!
so thats all girls.. I'm over it now.. except that that room does need to be taken care of! I may just end up doing it myself, and someone or someones will be sorry if I do!
I have things to show you.. hopefully tomorrow!
good night!

  1. I relate to that Why Mother Animals Eat Their Young. Been there done that a couple of times with my young ones(who are oldies now). My baby is 31 but she has had her moments with Mama. Still does every now and then. :-)

  4. in my college advisor's office, she had a sign that said:

"raising kids is like being pecked to death by a duck".

I was horrified, of course, I was also 19 and childless... now, I am a bit more understanding

  6. Don't worry Viv...what goes around comes around (or viceversa).
My daughter just said to me not so long ago "Mum, why on earth did you wish that someday I would have kids just like me?"
His turn will come...believe me...then you'll have the last laugh.
    Warmest hugs,
    Sandi

  13. Hi Viv...Oh my Goodness...I DID eat a half dozen of my banana walnut cookies...and that doesn't include the batter (lol)

By the way, I think my son is missing a limb or two.
