Took a few pictures around the house tonight. too many to post them all, so I thought Id show you some from just the kitchen. I just put these shelves up last weekend and I'm so glad I did!
It was kind of dark in the their tonight, so the colors are a little off.. but Oh well!
My sweet little kitchen tree has cherrys and ginger breadmen and strung popcorn that is turning yellow.. probably rancid! Its quite a few years old! The popcorn that I hang on our big tree is about 12 years old!!
We dont have our tree up yet. hopefully I'll find one this coming weekend.. I cant believe how once again, Christmas is sneaking up on us soooo fast!
Im really not ready.. I havent baked anything and I still have quite a bit of shopping to do.
PLus Christmas eve we have company.. so I have to start planning what to serve and I'll have to find some time to clean the house. I have to work on christmas eve day... I may take off the morning and work the afternoon if I can get away with it.
I have been looking for the perfect artificial tree and have not found one that I like that I can afford. some of the ones I like are 350.00 400.00.. and higher.. I just cant spend that kind of money on one right now.. maybe after christmas I can find one I like on sale!
See this awesome little elf holding the acorn???? isnt he the sweetest little guy ever? I recieved him from Theresa Whittmore in the littlest elf swap. I am just in love with the little guy!!! thank you theresa!
And this little snow guy below? I recieved from Debra Schoch last year in a snowman swap! I m a little swapped out right now.. but I already have two great ideas for swaps for next year for christmas time! (hope I dont forget them!)
Well.. thats all for tonight ..
IF you havent already left a comment on my previous post.. be sure to do so for a chance to win the snowman pinkeep!
have a happy FRIDAY..
you have the cutest and most eclectic little collection of dolls. the elves with the stripy hats and that ornament guy is hilarious!

ReplyDeleteYou must know by know that the ornament you made me is one of my favs! I remember how in awe I was when I opened it the day it arrived. I wasn't quite into Altered Art then and I was just amazed. I will also cherish it and you!
