yes, work is a blessing.. yes it is.. yes it is.. yes it is..

tree
I wish I was a rich princess!  ok.. I would even settle for just rich, so I could stay home every day.  I know, I would probably get bored, but Id like the option to find out! lol!    or, I wish I only had to work three days a week. Yes, three days, I think I could handle that quite well!
Well, all that wishful thinking has never gotten me anywheres....
so the reality is, I gotta go to work.. and I should count my blessings because I have a good job and other then the fact that I want to be home, I dont mind going to work...  (just trying to convince myself here...)
and today is a good day because it is FRIDAY!!!
No plans for the weekend.. I will most likely be hiding out in my craft room and cleaning house.
Happy Friday girlie pies!

  4. I wanna be just like you...
    A rich princess!
Come on, come on, we'd not get bored
We'd have a craft room galore!
It is not shocking that the little girls in us want to always play...all day!

  6. Boy oh boy! I'd love to join you on that rich princess journey! But the truth IS, I'd love ONE ENTIRE MONTH to do ONLY the things I want to do at any given minute. It'll never happen. Still, like you, I am grateful for the clients whose needed editing pays my few bills and allows me to indulge in a skim milk cappuccino or two weekly at Barnes & Noble, plus my trips to Hobby Lobby & Michaels. LOVE YOU, VIVVY! Have a FUN weekend!

  11. I love being home full time! And although I *am* a princess, I'm not a rich one! :)

The only time I've become bored at home is when I've been sick or down with a hurt back. At first it's fun to have bunches of computer and TV/movie time but then... not so much! ♥

  16. I'm right there with you! I think even 4 days of work with 3 days off would be a lot more balanced. I don't think boredom would even be possible - we've got so many fun things to do!

  20. It does get boring at home alone sometimes :-) BUT being retired is fun so I can stay home and work in my studio. MMMMMM!! When my dear hubby doesn't have us going here and there. It's nice to travel BUT I'm really tried of it. Never thought I would say that but I am. I think it's because it's always when I'm trying to work on patterns, dolls, getting my Etsy Shop up and running, getting ready for a conference or when teaching at a conferenc or doll club. Sorry, I seem to be on a roll and couldn't stop. LOL
    Hugs

  21. I find myself unemployed again. It sucks in that there is not enough money to do anything that I would love to do, but I like being home. Kind of a catch-22!
I take care of one of my grandbabies, so my craft area doesn't get too much business from me, but I will try more this coming week because I vow to take hold of my time. LOL
    take care!
