Its been a crazy week here. I havent spent much time on the computer this week. but finally have a few minutes this morning to do a post. We celebrated Marlainas first birthday yesterday. Her birthday was actually in dec, but tiffany and Robert decided to wait until now when life was calmer to do her party.
Isnt she the cutest little thing? I could eat her up! And shes such a good girl besides! This picture below cracks me up.. marla really didnt care about opening presents and Torry Loved the tissue paper and the gift bags that everything came out of. ( I made the marla banner, but this isnt a good pic of it.)
Tiffany did a great job putting the party together. she made all the goodies and decorations herself, I love that she is so creative. Her theme was alice in wonderland... I love the flying rocking horse.
See those little cups??? omg... talk about delicious! those are nutella cheesecake cups! the bottom of the cups are crumbled oreos mixed with butter, sort of like a grahmcracker crust, then its nutella and cream cheese mixed together with whipped cream on top.. She found the recipe on line.. this is definitely something I want to have again sometime!

Im sure Jennifer is thrilled that they are all so interested in the piano seeing as she is a music teacher and also teaches piano! Isnt Ella (my step grandpie) beautiful!?
I have to admit as each gift got opened I got a little more excited for rob and tiff.. because I knew there was something special coming up...
And I couldnt wait for it not to be a secret anymore!

Holy cow! When did those dollbabies have the NERVE to get so big? I could hug 'em to bits! Isn't it crazy how fast they grow? And I think YOUR area's water & Wisconsin's & Minnesota's are DANGEROUS! ReplyDeleteYes Viv, you most certainly do have the most beautiful babies ever!!! I also think you throw one heck of a party. Everything is so pretty, I just love it. I am just waiting right now for everyone to arrive for a birthday party for my son, but since he is 32 I don't have all the fancy stuff. Just lasagna, garlic bread, and his favorite kind of cake! I still do this for each child every year even though they are older! Thanks so much for visiting and leaving the really nice comment about my dolls. I just love them. I am honored to think you would buy the magazine, gosh that makes me feel special!

My little guy has a b-day in Dec. too. We put his off as well. Poor kids who have theirs between the holidays - all their little friends are traveling and school is out. We need to get his party done too! Congratulations on the next grandbaby! Cute shirt you made!

Katie and Ashton are getting married...in a year from July...lol...but they are anxious to have a family. They are both struggling through those initial social work jobs...ugh. Maybe she should have gone into fashion after all!
Juddy bear is sitting on my coffee table downstairs right now. I love him so much! I hold him when I am sad. I put the lovely card you made into a memory box I made at a workshop (well, halfmade, as is everything in my life). the bears are treasures!

what a fun birthday party. Isn't is grand to be the grandparents? We love our grandbabies so much and am so sad they are all far away. We do see them every few months so that helps a lot congratualataions on a new addition asa well!!!
