I know.. an ornament in the cupboard... I just cant help myself. The ornament was just sitting I hadnt used it yet and I thought to myself, where could I put just one single ornament? It wouldnt fit in the cookie jar with the rest of them, so it didnt have a home yet.
So when I opened the cupboard to get a bowl out last night, I thought that it matches some of my dishes! and then I thought... what a cute little surprise everytime you open the cupboard! so it now has a new home for the holidays!
I know i'm not right in the head. It reminds me of my refrigerator ghost...do you remember him? only he talked with the door opened. wouldnt it be fun if the ornie was light sensitive and every time the cupboard door opened it started playing some christmas song.. like "Deck the halls with balls so jolly" LOL!
well, it just doesnt take much to amuse me!

ReplyDeleteI KNOW we are sisters! I have 4 glass-front kitchen cabinets, and they are the ones where I put my Christmasy dishes. I ALSO have ornies (mostly gingerbread people because my entire kitchen & dining room is gingerbread themed) in my cabinets. Yep! We are HEART-SISTERS, Vivvy-Pie! Have a happy Tuesday!!!!! XXXOOO!

I think that's a great spot for it, Vivian! Just don't forget it's there when you are putting Christmas away! : ) I put a few things in the one glass door cabinet we have in our kitchen. I have whites in it so adding the green bottlebrush trees and some greenery really stands out.
