good morning punk'n heads!

"punk'n heads" is a term of endearment when I use it here.. but at work when Im talking about my boys I call them PUNK in heads.. I dont mean it quite as nicely as I do here! But they dont know that. though they would probably rather I didnt call them that anyways! lol!

Do you like these little punkinhead cuppiecakes? They will be going to Kellys with me this weekend.. little treats for her ghoul friends at her ghouls night party!

You know, special K cereal is good for you, low in calories and fat and I really like it. but my serving size equals about 3 of their serving sizes... so whats the point! I may as well eat captain freaken crunch! (im just saying!)

made a little turkey last night. trying to figure out how to make ittybitty ones to put on faux thanksgiving cupcakes! You probably guessed that I will be making fake cupcakes for every holiday now. they look so cute displayed in the kitchen. but I think I need to get another clouche. did I spell that right? I havent seen any lately. but I'll find one.

I will make it to the post office on my lunch today to mail out my giveaway to Joyce. and once again I have packaged stuff up with out taking a final picture, there are a couple other things added to her package! okeedokie girlies.. my footsies are freezing and I better move along and get ready for work!

Today in my craft room

Woohoo.. what a day! Its been just that kind of perfectly laid back day.. (well except for the on call part.. umm let me just say this about that, because I really cant say much about it.. but I can tell you.. that you would just not believe how some people live!.. ok.. nuff said about that!)

So, I started this little kitty pinkeep last night and finished him up this morning. It the first time I've done a double pinkeep. I like how he turned out. what do you think? the pictures dont do him justice.. he looks too fibery in this pic.

so when I was taking his picture, I snapped a few others of the goings on in my little play room!

There is sooo much stuff packed into this tiny room.. sometimes i think its almost shameful! my craft table with the shelves all around it and on it and above it look like an alter of some sort! I wonder what I will do with all this stuff someday! or what my family will have to do with it all someday!? Well I guess it could be worse.. at least I'm not a hoarder! lol!

I made a big pot of chicken and bisquits and some mashed potatos tonight. Beth, Torry and torry pie came for dinner as did little Tony and Robert and Tiffany. It was so good! I made an apple pie too. OH I should have taken a picture of it! darn! theres one little piece left.. I should hide it for my breakfast. hehee.

GEesh! doesnt the weekend go by so fast? This week will go by quickly and then I'll be on my way to OHIO! to visit my friend Kelly! I'm looking forward to it. I still have to finish up a few projects to go with me though!

I probably wont post again, until right before I go on friday.. oh heck.. I'll probably fit one in before then.. My original thought though, is not to post again until thursday night. And to spend the week getting caught up with all of you! Ive been peeking in, but not leaving many comments. So be watching for me this week.. I'll be visiting!

Arent figgy and frannie freaken awesome? they are never far from where I am. And they love to play in my craft room.. or as in this case.. they like to lounge in here too! they are sooo inseperable!

ahhhhh.. its friday night! sometimes on friday nights I feel like I could just stay up creating and puttering all night! but tonight, I'm pretty tired! its cool and wet and windy outside, so its extra cozy inside. That is one nice thing about fall.. inside gets cozier!

Ive been looking for a cute halloween teaset for weeks and have had no luck at all. ebay had a few, but they werent what I wanted! I finally decided to buy a set and paint it! I was going to go to vidlers 5 and 10 in east aurora because they sell miniature teasets, but because of road construction I decided not to and ended up in a nearby antique co-op. And for 3.50 I found a perfect set! Its a niagara falls souvenir (is that how you spell that?). anyways, I couldnt sleep last night and at 5:00 am I was wide awake and decided to get started on it!

So far this is what it looks like, but Its not done yet. I'll be up early tomorrow finishing up and touching up! We'll see what the end result is. even in its rough state, I think I like it better then what I was able to find on ebay!

Friday morning chit chat!

Good morning sunshines! my dad used to say that when I got up in the morning. though of course it was just good morning sunshine as there is only one of me.. duh! He also used to bring donuts home and tell me he brought something to sweeten my disposition! probably why Im so fat now.. ive been trying to keep my disposition sunshiney and sweet all these years!!! LOL! we can always blame our parents for all of our faults!

yeah! its the weekend again! Im on call though.. so girls.. pray for a quiet weekend .. K? I dont have any other plans really. I try not to make any for the weekends I'm on call. I will most likely stick close to home and work on a little project I have going for vanessa of fanciful twist's halloween party on next sat. That and I want to start planning my daughter in love Tiffanys baby shower.
I'm very excited because next weekend I'm going to ohio for the weekend to stay with my flickr pal Kelly (kelbug). I know we'll have a great time. she is sooooo creative. I'll be sure to take pictures.. she has a great halloween collection! Shes also throwing a ghoals night party while I'm there with a bunch of her girlfriends. I'm making them all treats.. so they dont play any tricks on me! lol!

So I took these pics this morning of some of the halloweenies around my kitchen. The pics are dark. I just dont get great lighting in my house. dont mind the unpainted top of this shelf above! I'm lazy I guess and only painted the parts we would see, as this shelf is up high around two of my kitchen walls. I love decorating the shelves for holidays. well, you know me.. I like to decorate everything for the holidays!

Girls.. I'm not doing well with that stupid losing weight deal.... how about yous?? anyone taking it serious? I just keep eating.. every... thing... in ... sight!!! OINK OINK OINK!! I gotta stop the madness! lol. Speaking of food.. Im dying for a big pot of chicken and bisquits! I think that will be a good meal to make on sunday when the kids all come over.. though bethany hates chicken! I'll have to make a little something else for her. can you imaging hating chicken? I could pretty much eat chicken every meal! (maybe shes' not really my kid!)

All my animals are wild this morning .. figgy and frannie are running around like maniacs! and buffy, (thankfully has stopped laying eggs for the time being! She had laid 5 altogether.) she finally is back to her noisey chattering old self.. "good morning buff! whatcha doing? peek aboo! com'ere, here ya go, awww buffy.. and lots of whistling!" There are two eggs left in the cage but she is pretty much ignoring them now, so I can take them out tonight or tomorrow, whenever I get to cleaning her cage. I didnt like her having eggs, because she quit being playful and wanted to sit on the floor on her eggs! silly ol bird!

OK.. so enough chit chat.. I do have to get ready for work.. still need to shower and pack a lunch or somesort and feed all the animals. including the big white kitty outside. I really wish my husband would say I could keep him.. but we usually end up argueing about him. he tells me to stop feeding him and he'll go away.. but I can not stop feeding him... I'm still working on a plan to bring him in. figgy loves him.. frannie hisses at him. We'll see what happens.. hubby may move out if I bring that cat in.

halloween giveaway

WEnt for a little bike ride tonight. I havent had my sweet pink bike out much this summer. but tonight was a perfect night for a ride. sure is getting dark early now though. 7:00 was dark. dark like, I had to put my jammies on then. I have a hard time adjusting to it getting dark so early. Makes me tired I think. Dont you love those streamers on my bike? Barb Burkard from 123 lavenderlollipoplane made them for me. she is a doll. I do wonderwhat people think when they see me coming on my pink bike with the streamers and basket.. probably.. "omg.. she is a such a goober!" Really, I think they are jealous that they dont have a peptobismo pink bike with awesome streamers!! I need a pug puppy to ride in my basket! lol!
