I cant help it....

beth, torry and torrypie had their pictures taken yesterday...  Is it just me, because I am of course very biased, or is he just freaken beautiful?  I need new ones of miss Marla pie now too... shes coming over today, so I'll be sure to get some.

god.. I love my grandbabies... more then anything in the world... all three of them.. even though Jacob is not here with us.. hes with Jesus waiting for us to catch up with him someday. 

should be working on bears today.. but im getting bitten by the christmas bug!  I need to create something christmasy..   today.. now... as soon as I run the vacuum and make the bed! 

Robert had a wonderful birthday party yesterday.... and... I FORGOT to take my camera with me!  yesterday was a very forgetful day for me.......

 

I went to a private craft show that a friend of mine puts on every year.  When I was leaving I couldnt find my keys.  I figured I must have left them in my car.  couldnt remember locking the car door so felt pretty confident that they were just in there.... so as we approached my car my daughter Jennifer said.. "OH my god mom... Is your car running???"  uh... yeah.. it was.  I had left it running the whole time we were there.   oh dear...  I am sooo forgetful sometimes.. but I've never done that before!

happy birthday!

 Today is my baby's birthday. born 24 years ago today.. at about dinner time.   weighing in at 8.8lbs and 21 inches long.  all my kids were 21 inches long!    I'm very proud of the person he has become.. and is becoming!  LOVe you tons Robby!  Happy Birthday! (he doesnt read my blog.. but I still have to honor him here on his special day.)  Tiffany has a birthday party planned for him for this afternoon.. so thats where I will be later today.  Till then, I better get busy.. I need to go get groceries and do a little shopping.

yippee! its friday!!

amazing how a short week, (had off for election day) can feel so long!  TGIF!  maybe its because I was on call.  I dont know.. but what ever!  I'm so glad its friday and a three day weekend.

It'll be a another beary busy weekend.  This weekend I'll be finishing up bears for our own Sue Reaney who lost her husband this past year.  I wont show them to you until she has received them.  they are almost done though!  And I'll be delivering another set of 5 bears today to someone.  I will post those pics over the weekend probably.

Its supposed to be nice out this weekend.  so I'm hoping that, along with working on the bears, to get outside and do a little yard work.  I really dont like yard work.. but it needs to be done.  I also plan on doing some christmas shopping this weekend too.  I need to get to hallmark to buy these bears that record your voice so that when then get squeezed they say.. "grammy loves you MArla pie!"  or "Grammy loves you Torry Pie!"  They are on sale starting today.  I think I'll go after work just to be sure I get them!

my footsies are freezing and I need to go get ready for work..  well actually, I'm going to go make a little thanksgiving garland and a couple little turkey ornies to take to work for my office!

chitter chatter...

Halloween is finally packed away into 4 giant bins and one large bin... I admit, I have too much.  The taking out and putting away totally overwhelms me.  but while its all out, I love seeing it all around me every day!  so must be that it is worth the few days of torture to put it out and put it away!  Actually, I lied!  I still have to pack up the stuff on the porch!  it will be 5 giant bins, one large bin and one skeleton! lol and I havent packed up my shelves over the couch yet.  keeping that out til I put christmas out!

thanksgiving comes from one bin that isnt even totally packed!  I dont need much more, its only out for 2 weeks.  because the day after thanksgiving, christmas comes out.....  which is as much work if not more then halloween!   but I'm looking forward to it.

I considered skipping thanksgiving decorating and going straight to christmas, but I would have missed my little flock of turkeys! LOL! I do think I might put my tree up before thanksgiving though.. why not?

So here is only a few pics of thanksgiving at my house.  these are from the living room.  the kitchen is where most of it goes and I will post pics another day.    Sometimes I think you might get sick of me posting so many stupid pictures! 

Still working on bears...  have another order now too.  I have 5 completed, 5 sewed and waiting to be stuffed and 2 other orders that I havent started yet.  hoping to get them all finished before thanksgiving.  I'll post pics sometime soon

almost the weekend!  Ive been on call, which hasnt been to bad.  I think I have about 12 hours in right now. Today is my last day and night on. 

Saturday is my youngests 24th birthday... (I think 24.. or is he 25?  who knows!)  His wife is throwing him a birthday party at their house.  that'll be nice just to show up and not do all the work! lol!

 I'm planning on getting some christmas shopping started this weekend. We have a three day weekend for veterans day and then  the following week I have three days off for thanksgiving.  I have no idea whose coming for dinner.. they all have to split their time between two families now. ( i do not like sharing my family I must admit!)  

 So thats if for me for now...  what are all my bloggy pals up to this week?

monday morning gobble..

I didnt get my halloween stuff put away yet.  but I keep thinking about these turkey friends above who are eagerly waiting their turn to strut their stuff around the house for a couple weeks!  Thanksgiving is the shortest lived holiday around here.  such a short time between halloween put away and christmas put out!  .   I'm hoping to start tonight packing up halloween..  I dont have to work tomorrow so I will surely dig these little friends out.  Between finishing up some of these bears I've been working on.

OK.. thats all I've got for this morning girls... now I'm going to stuff one more bear before I get ready for work!
