the wedding (warning lots of pics)

sorry its taken me so long to do a wedding post.  I didnt know where to begin it! lol! Everything turned out perfectly.  The barn where the wedding took place was just so cool!  I think it was exactly the way Vanessa wanted it to be.   The barn is part of a winery and was about 45 minutes away from where the reception was.

We went to the barn on friday night to set it up and have the rehersal and rehersal dinner.  There were about 24 of us.  I bought pizza and wings and chips,  with of course beer and pop!  And I made brownies for dessert.  we had a good time setting up and of course everyone was excited about the next day!

 

The babies had a blast running around in the barn.  it was hard to get them to hold still for a minute to take their pictures!  lol!

 

Saturday morning I went and had my hair done  then went to pick up coffee, bagels and donuts for the guys at Tim Hortons.  I also picked up both baby pies so their mommys and daddys could go in the limo with out them.  I do have to say, getting them ready and making sure the guys were all set including my husband made it a little difficult for me to get ready!  but I managed!  I just forgot to put lotion and perfume on though!

The limo took the guys out to the barn and then came back to tony and nessas to pick up the girls.  the babies and grandpa and grammie drove in the car!  no limo for this princess! LOL!

The ceremony was beautiful.. but I didnt get very good pictures.  we will have to wait for the professional ones.  I didnt even get one of nessa coming down the isle!!!  I was a little distracted by my grandpies.  my son started to cry a bit when he said his vows and vanessa had tears through the whole thing..  I shed a few when tony did. 

Everyone looked beautiful.  Beth was the maid of honor and Rob was the best man and it was sort of funny to see them coming down the isle together babies in tow.. look at the look on torrys face in the above pic!  Neither baby was very cooperative to be honest.. but they are just babys and to expect anything more of them would be nuts.

wedding chatter and porch pics!

wow!  Im pooped out.  wedding preparations have kept me away from home a lot in the last two weeks. Though, Im not complaining in the least bit, there is nothing else Id rather be doing then spending time with my kids and helping get things ready for the big day.  However, I have to admit that coming home last night after setting up for the reception,  all I could think was, omg.. if my back and feet ache this much how must Vanessa (and Tony for that matter) must be feeling!  Poor girl is 8 months pregnant!  I am a wimp!  LOL!

I do have to say my it was nice to come into my cozy orange glowing halloween cottage!

I am still pooped this morning.  But Im hoping a few cups of tea and a HOT shower will revive me.  I have a ton of stuff to do today.  In fact I shouldnt be on here.  but I'm waiting for the ibuprofen to kick in so I can move a little better.. (the old back, hips and feet  are pretty freaken achey this morning!)  I need to be able to get things done today and dance tomorrow night!!!

So these are pics of our front porch.. tiny and basically falling off the house.. but cozy none the less! lol!  (my whole house is basically falling apart!  but whatever!

Its raining here this morning.. I wonder how long that will last?  I suppose I could check the weather report!   Ive got to get my nails done at 9:15 and I want to clean the bathroom and the bird cage before I do that.  I also need to clean out my car to make room for a ladder that I have to go pick up this morning.  I need to go to the post office, pick up Tiffany's dress, stop at work and pick up cookies that a friend is making.  I also have to go to the bank and pick up the ladder.   The cookies are for the little wine reception before the reception reception!  The wedding is at a winery and after the ceremony they are serving wine and hordeurves  (how the heck do you spell that!  spell check wants it to say hoarders! lol)   to hold people off til dinner which isnt for a couple hours after the wedding and is back in lyndonville at the golf course behind where we live.

Im very excited about the wedding.  Vanessas mom told me she was feeling very emotional this week.  Its going to hit me tomorrow when I see my son standing waiting for his bride to come down the isle. I will tuck some kleenex in the adorable little black purse my daughter bought me for my birthday!  Hey!  wanna see my outfit?  I'll go take a picture of it..!  be right back...

I uploaded pics for you.. but they are at the bottom of this post!   I hope it all looks good on me!  Actually the jacket doesnt match the dress.  I had to buy it separate..  I hope it looks ok together.. the dress looks black until you put black next to it.. they it looks more blue.  Oh well at this point it is what it is!

I guess I should really get busy.  I think the ibuprofen is kicking in a bit and I need to get moving!  I'll be back on sunday! 

Gosh.. I hope I look ok in this stuff!!!  I surely did not lose all the weight I wanted to lose..

but.. it is what it is!

Yesterday and last of my halloween living room

Yesterday was my 29th birthday! lol~  ok.. so I'm lying ... a lot!  anyways, had the day off, puttered at home in the morning... talked on the phone most of it really.  then had my mammogram.. which I'm pleased to say, the girls are good!  After that, I picked Torry pie up and took him out for a birthday lunch at burger king! Where we argued about whose birthday it really was.  He knows his birthday is dec 8th, but to him that could be any day.. and of course all the talk about birthdays makes yesterday the perfect day for his too! lol!  So at burger king (which was disgusting..)  he kept dipping his french fries in his ketchup and wiped them on his chicken nuggets and told me that he was painting his chicken and never ate a bite of it! And, of course, he kept that crown on the whole rest of the day, which just freaken cracked me up!  We went to the grocery store and they had these cheap plastic skellys for .75 cents, so I had to get him a little "birthday present" and bought him one.  he loves my skellys big and small.   Except that he thinks his should have on underwear! LOL!  he is so freaken funny.

Other then that we played here at home a bit and made chicken fajitas for dinner (which again he did not eat) and then headed over to tony and nessas to do some more wedding stuff.   We can now say everything is pretty much done other then a couple odds and ends!  

The kids had a birthday cake for me there and torry blew out my candles! lol!

So today Im having breakfast with Nessa and Tony getting some more pumpkins with them and hopefully relaxing a bit.  oh.. and I have to go buy some sort of body shaper thing... YIKES! Tonight we will set up at the white birch for the reception and tomorrow is setting up the barn at the winery and the rehersal dinner.   Getting my nails done in the am and some other odds and ends.  It is finally here.. the wedding weekend.  Both of the kids keep saying that cant wait for it to be over and that they should have eloped!  Its a lot of work planning a big wedding and pulling it all off, but they've done a great job, I think.

The weather for the next three days is supposed to be very summery!  sat.. 79 degrees!  thats awesome.  I'm excited for the kids and I know everything will go well.  Very curious to see if the three babies make it down the isle as ring bearer and flower girls!  They'll be cute regardless!  

So these are the last pics of halloween in my living room, there is actually more in there that I just can get pic of or thatis worth even showing you.   I have too much stuff ...   its a sickness.. yes... thats what it is.

well, Im pretty sure I'll get to post again before the wedding..  so I'll either post pics from my halloween porch or maybe from the ones Ive been taking of the wedding preparations..

what a weekend!

I am pooped out!  Not complaining, just a very busy weekend helping Vanessa with wedding stuff.  I still havent managed to get groceries!  lol!  maybe tomorrow after work.. or not... who knows.   Theres still some stuff to with Ness and tony.  but we put a huge dent in everything over the weekend.  I hope Vanessa can relax tomorrow.  she needs too,  hard to be 8 months pregnant and then do all that shes been doing on top of that.  (you hear me ness, try to rest tomorrow!)

I got to see three precious little grandpies this weekend!  Arent they all just freak'n beautiful?  I know, Im biased..   really.. I know I am  blessed! 

Hey!! you like my punk'ns???  I got these today at a local farm stand.  I LOVE them.. they are huge.. and only 3.00 a piece!  as broke as I am, I had to splurge on them.. and... I'm going back tomorrow to get four more.

I have to work tomorrow and tuesday.  Wednesday is supposed to be a half a day off, but I think Im going to switch it to a full day off.  I need the extra day, and I also have off  thursday and friday.  those will both be veyry busy days!   omg.. my son is getting married on saturday.  our mother son dance is going to be to Simple Man by lynard skynard.  I keep telling him that Im going to have the DJ stop have way through and play some big band swing music so I can make him swing dance with me, like I used to when he was little! LOL!  but I wont do it.  besides, I really cant swing dance and I would look really stupid! lol.

Got my hair cut yesterday.  When I got there, the girl cutting it handed me an envelope with my name on it.   I couldnt for the life of me imagine what was in it and when I opened it up I found a gift certificate for 75.00 from my husband!  I was soo surprised!  It was so unexpected and so awesome because I am so broke!  lol!  hes a good boy that Tony Neroni! I think I'll keep him!

OK.. Ive got to go clean up the kitchen a bit, Ive barely been home all weekend and Ive done nothing here.
