have you missed me?

Here I am!  Have you missed me?  Been busy I guess!  We of course celebrated memorial day with a family picnic and  I didn't even get my camera out...  But I've stolen some pics of my pies off the kids facebooks to show you how big they are all getting.  omg..  I  love these babies!  You didn't know that though, did you?  lol!

There were a couple missing from our family gathering on Sunday, which I hated and it made the day seem a tad bit off to me.  but we did have a good time and had lots of great food, the kids had fun and the weather was perfect!

I spent the weekend cleaning, working outside and doing a little gardening.. nothing major.. but I feel better that some stuff got done.  and the little I did was enough to make my back ache! lol!  I'm not cut out for physical labor..   I'm supposed to be a freak'n princess darn it!
  but what ever...  lol!

It was nice to have a 3 day weekend and we're coming up on those summer months were I have 3 and 4 day weekends every weekend.  I'm looking forward to beach days with my pies!  Though Ive seen a long range forecast which calls for cool weather or below average temps for the summer..   hmmmm....   mother nature needs to get her you know what together!

Believe it or not.. I'm on call again for the next week.  but then I wont be on again until sometime in the fall.
I'm so hoping for a quiet weekend.  I was on last week and had 17 hours of overtime in.. and two weeks prior I was on and had 11 hours overtime.   I really have a lot of bears to work on this weekend, so I'm hoping not to have to go out... fingers crossed.

so other then that..  we've had a little family drama going on.. which pretty much crushes my spirit and I don't function well when there is trouble amongst the tribe, which is part of the reason I didn't update my blog sooner..  you know what they say.. if you don't have something nice to say.. say nothing at all!   so I didn't.   hopefully things get better soon... way too many strong willed people in this family! LOL! But I love every single one of them totally and unconditionally with all my heart!
okeedokie..   bloggy pies.. I promise to visit everyone soon!
toodles and love!

Viv!!! I am so glad to see you here this morning. I have missed you. Glad to see the "pies"-they are getting so big and all so cute! Hope you have a quiet weekend. Hubby here is on every 3rd weekend and was on over Memorial Day. He put in a lot of extra time, too.
I understand about the family drama- we have times like that, too. xo Diana

I wish life was drama free, but it certainly isn't. I shield all that stuff from my social media and there are days it's just better to focus on the positives and unplug. I'm so glad you have a reduced work schedule coming up. My hubby is almost done with his school and then he turns into Mr. Mom. I wish I had summer's off, but it's probably better for our budget because I'd want to buy lots more crafting supplies and visit estate sales..etc if I had more time on my hand. Love you lots!

Yes we did miss you. Drama is a part of life but it's the role we choose to play in it that can make it better or worse. Keep smiling! Hope you get some warm days and some good beach time in real soon. Maggie

Yes, yes, yes, we missed you! We have a party pooper who has to have every ounce of everyone's attention, good or bad, so I know about the family drama. It just ruins everything. But, enough about that. Come to Colorado and we'll go to the mountains in my fancy (not) camper! We'll just listen to the rustle of the pine trees and forget about the craziness.

I loved your photos. I will pray that all the drama will just go away. I like for everyone in the family to be kind or at least be civil to each other. We moms are the ones who truly hurt if they don't. Bless you Viv. xoxo,Susie

I'm sure it's not easy when things are not right amongst the family, Vivian. Your little grand pies look so cute. Love the lip on the baby!

I hope we have a cooler than usual summer this year. So far, it's not happening. Quite a few hot and humid days here with some rain thrown in just for fun. I wouldn't care if it was 90 out, just leave the humidity out of the equation!

I do hope things are going better for you now. Family drama is so hard.
Your little pies are so darn cute. I got a kick out of your little big load delivery guy. Ha.

Those little ones are adorable! Like you, when some of mine are missing...I feel the same way. A bit "off".. It seems more and more it's harder for all of us to get together. I miss the days with all the little grands running around playing. I miss it a lot. Everyone's grown..and getting more and more scattered.
:) It's hard.
