teatime at Nataleas!

Natalea hosted a fun valentine tea party yesterday. Weve been looking forward to it for a few weeks now and Nataleas been planning and decorating and getting everything ready for it ever since she decided to have it. I wish I would have taken pictures of the decorations around her house, because you would have all been amazed! She has such a knack for decorating and setting up little vignettes in every corner of her beautiful home.

We had a great time. Some of Nataleas family was there and some of her closest friends that she grew up with. Her friends Ellie and Tara are funny!

Sandy from sandyscreations, Julie ann from kitchen floor creations, and Jenny (be cheery) from flickr, were all there. Sandy and her husband came for near toronto in canada. They drove a couple hours to Nats and spent the night there last night. Thank God we had nice weather.. well, COLD, but at least no storms like some of you had. Sandys hubby left her at Nats for the afternoon and went shopping at Gander Mountain!

I met up with Jenny and her sister Missy in Amhearst and rode to Nats with them. Jennys sister is as sweet as Jen. But she wasnt feeling well. I hope she's feeling better today.

It was also very nice to meet Julie Ann. She lives in Tonawanda with is only half an hour or so from Nats. Julie Ann and I were partners in heathers inspiration box swap and she made me the sweetest box!

Natalea spoiled us with gifts and great food! she made this earl grey cake with cherrys nad choc to die for! (click on nats or sandys links to see more pics of Nats house and of the cake!) Nat made a wonderful punch that I could have drinken about 10 glasses of. Of course, we also had a little valentine swap as well. So much cute stuff!

It was nice just to hang around relaxing with the girls.

Nataleas daughter Scarlet is a hoot! She loves to have her picture taken and strikes some pretty funny poses. doesnt she look just like Natalea?

I definitely ate a few more points then I should have yesterday! Hopefully they wont show up on the scale on tuesday! But how can you pass up something that looks like this??

Well anyways.. thank you Natalea for a fun time. We had some good laughs! and thats what getting together with friends is all about!

3 weeks old today! and starting to be more fun!


This is just a very quick post for this morning! I'll be back later to show pictures from Nataleas fun valentine teaparty. For now, I really have to clean up my house. Its a mess.. heres just a sample!! well, it didnt help that I went to buffalo stamps yesterday and bought a ton of stuff.. (umm... what spending freeze???)

And just one more thing before I go... LOOK at this sweet little valentine ice cream cone! I did special one on one valentine swap with my friend KElBUG on flickr.. I sent her the valentine pinkeep I made a bunch of posts ago, and she sent me these.. can you see the little clay bracelet behing the icecream guy? thank you Kelly! Love it!

Well, I dont have as much valentine stuff as I do for other holidays, but I do have two bins full.

All of the sweet valentine ornaments on this tree above are from swaps over the last two years.. theres more, not all are on this tree!
This wool and felted heart ornie above is one that I made this year for an ornament swap. I wanted to find or make wings for it, but havent yet!

I actually have several valentine trees.. I couldnt find this one this year. I had put it away with the easter stuff. I was so happy when I found it! And this little birdie finds its way onto all my holiday trees. Its one of my most favorite little things I own!

Found that little gold spun nest after christmas 75% off somewhere.. and was so glad, because I had to have it!

do you recieve the gooseberry patch catalog? OmG.. every time it comes I want to order hundreds of dollars worth of stuff! last year I did order a set of these little glittered wooden valentines.. the bunny is my favorite!

This pic above isnt really very valentinesy at all is it.. but I keep my snowmen out through winter, so they are valentines visitors! And really this is a sweet picture of Frannie and you know that Frannie, is Figgys valentine!
