this is intriguing. I, too, hope everything is okay, my friend. If I had to guess, I'd say it's the boy.
Lots of supportive hugs,

ROFL!!!! Sorry Viv, you sound frustrated! I hope it's nothing too serious. I do empathise with you, but honestly, I couldn't help laughing...it seems to happen to all of us at some time or other.
Warmest hugs,

Yes I can relate to that being a mother to a 17year old boy. Help I want to get off this rollercoaster....

WHAT????? Is my daughter visiting you???? Oh, wait - they ALL make us feel that way now & then (a lot more 'now' than 'then' depending upon the age)so I guess you were referring to YOUR 'young', huh? Just wait till next time that child is sound asleep and looks so sweet and innocent and precious. They are ALWAYS wonderful & perfect - when they're ASLEEP! Hold THAT thought. LOL!

Oh Viv - I thought I had the market cornered on that statement. Raising my oldest daughter I said that no less than once a week!...and that was one of the nicer things I used to say!!!

There's something wrong with the baby when it's born. I had a cat (when I was a young kid) that starting eating one of her babies right in front of me. It's heart was showing. Her little body didn't develope right. OOOOOOOOOOO!!! I yelled at Susie(my cat's name).Yes, I took the baby kitty away from her. Broke my heart to see that and to this day I still remember it.

OK I am cracking up! Been there way too many times. I can't believe as they get older it still makes sense. In fact even more so than when they are young! What's up with that? I figure God just recreates their personalities for a season so we WILL kick them out!
My problem is they keep coming back! I will never have empty nest syndrom.
