vintage vacation swap *wowzers*

Jenny hosted a fun vintage holiday swap! And I was so lucky to be paired up with Roxie Morrow. It must have been meant to be, because after being assigned as partners, Roxie came to visit my blog and saw that I was heading out to Ocean City Maryland for a vacation and would be there the same time she was vacationing there! so we made arrangements to meet up. We knew we were staying close to each other but when I got there and saw that she was just two buildings down from where we were I was amazed! Anyways, we came in on sunday night and she was leaving the next morning, but we did manage to meet on the beach! We got to visit for about an hour.. definitely not long enough! Roxie is fun and sweet and I wish we didnt live so far apart because I think we would have such fun hanging out. She got to meet the girls i went with and they told me to invite her to go with us in two years when we go back for girls week again!

So anyways, Rox and I were partners in jennys swap and I received her package this weekend. Let me just say... OMG! the bottle that she made me is sooooo perfect! I just love it. I love it all. But that bottle.. OMG!

It s just gorgeous. It has tickets on the back that say, OC and MD for ocean city Maryland. A wonderful reminder of a wonderful trip! And look at the sweet little vintage perfume bottle and post card. And the candy! and the little bag she made to hold the candy! Im just tickled pink by it all!

And just look at the front! Even my hubby liked it. I'm going to think of the two girls on the front as Roxie and I!

Roxie, I couldnt be any more thrilled with this bottle and the other great goodies you sent me! Thank you soooo much! And I do hope that we get to meet again someday and that its on the beach somewhere warm and sunny!
She just lavished this bottle with sweet little details! this is the top of the bottle!
I love it!

And Again I say... ROXIE! THANK YOU!

So after all that .. I just need to say.. Its a gorgeous day here today, I have the day off and guess where I'm off too? uh huh! you guessed it...

I think Roxie is the woman that comes from my home town...Mtchell , South Dakota! No one comes from Mitchell, South Dakota.I hope to meet her at Silver Bella. She really does beautiful work! You are lucky, Viv!

Suz

Hi Viv!! Send me your mailing address and I will send you a box of wool. I already washed it and picked through it..since sheered wool always has hay.. dirt.. and some burrs in it. juliesize@yahoo.com

I thought it might be the same type of base material you would use to make some of the wool animals ... if not - just play with it.

Hi Viv!!! I'm so glad we got to meet also...it was sheer destiny!! Thanks to Jenny of course!

You took such great pics of your goodies, it makes me smile to know you really love the bottle. I knew I had to make you something special to remind you of all the times you go to OC.

Thanks for all my goodies too, I will treasure them forever!
