Ta DAH!

It seems that lately any bear orders that I've finished, Ive failed to take pictures of. I remembered this morning before these guys were picked up to snap a pic. I've been putting this order off for so long! I just didnt feel like making them. but they are done and gone now! the man who is being remembered or who this clothing belonged to was killed this past year when garbage truck came around a corner and tipped over on his car at an intersection. How awful I cant even imagine. such a freak accident. I hope his family members like the bears. the wife wanted a furry bear dressed in his clothing and the other three are made out of his shirts. Any ways.. done! paid for and time to move on to the next order.. which I've also been putting off!

Today is a sad day for Frannie and Figgy and Me! The babies are 8 weeks old and 4 of them have left us to go on to their new forever homes. I liked all the people that took them and I think they will have good lives. One of these last two is going to a friend when she gets back from her vacation and the other is unspoken for still. I have several people that have called, I'm just not sure I want them to have one of our kittens for various reasons. so I will hold her until the perfect home comes up!
I'm off for the evening to the orleans county fair. My son is doing the greased pole with some of his buddies. so we'll be up there cheering them on. say a quick prayer that it doesnt rain. it looks like it might!
Okeedokie! I'm off for tonight.. I have two more days off this weekend, so I'll surely be back! Not sure I'll get a beach day in these weekend though.... poohie!
have a sweet night all!
hugs!

The bears are so cute, but wow, you just never know what kind of weird things are going to happen! The greased pole thing reminds me of an episode of Laverne and Shirley I saw when I was little where they went to Italy and Carmine ended up doing the greased pole for some reason. Yeah, I was a sitcom junkie!

Those bears are so special, Viv. I don't think I have ever seen one of your big bears. I especially like the one in the suit coat. It's a very nice memorial and something they can hug!

I laughed when I read about "forever families." I haven't heard that term since I worked in residential treatment. I remember poor Todd who had about five "forever families." (These kids were really ill!)

I know the kittens will make their owners smile, though, and I imagine this will be their "forever family." They are just too too cute!

What a horrible accident. I hope the bears bring some comfort to the family.

If it weren't for my husband and Trophy, I'd have you fly that kitty to me! As it stands, it would have to be a swap, with me sending you my husband and kitty for your kitty!

HELLO Vivian!!!!!!! It's been a while since I've been here and as you know I've been away but boy look at all the wonderful work you've been doing! What a tragic story behind those bears but what a beautiful way to remember someone, very special!
Nothing wrong with George Thorogood! I would have been rockin' with you had I been there...funny about your sunglasses though!

Viv,

I just adore your bear. Thank goodness you took pictures. I do the same thing. I create such great pretties and forget to photograph them before they leave the house. Now I try my best to remember, but that ole memory stinks ya know!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend my friend.

Look at the babies!!! Not such babies now, are they? I feel so bad that I can't have one now. I couldn't in good conscience bring one of those sweet babies into the household here with the vicious Tiger boy. I think he would try to eat it and we can't have that.
Are you keeping one or two of the babies?
all my love,
Cindy
