supplies!

mmmm!!  what fun
ahhhhhhhh........  finally got a chance to go do a little craft supply shopping!  right after work yesterday I headed out to buffalo stamps, Micheals, homegoods, and joanns.
craft supplies!
I spent way too much money,... on stuff...  just stuff....  and, to be honest.. I could have spent a whole lot more!
halloweenies!
There is other things I want.. a lot of other stuff... but there are still lots of weeks before halloween.. so theres still time.. I have enough to get started.
should have bought him..
I saw this guy at homegoods and pushed him around the store in my cart cause I wanted him....  then at the last minute I took his picture and put him back.. I can make one....
wanted him
but really??  he was only 12.00 and when will I make one... I should have bought him!
his trick or treat bag
and...  He was the only one there...  but I was trying not to spend a ton of money.. which I did end up doing anyways.... soo, I should have just bought him.
I do have to go back to joanns this morning for some black fabric for my halloween witches hat swap... but there is no home goods store where I'm going this time.
oh well... silly me!
have a great holiday weekend...
picnicing anyone?  I'm hoping for  a lake day and picnic tomorrrow.
toodles!

Hi, lil' Vivvy! I SWEAR I have been reading yours (and everyone's) blogs but not always commenting. Don't you sometimes WANT to peek in but you are tired and too lazy to actually move your fingers to type? LOL! Well, I've been like that recently! LOVE the Halloweenies!!! And, OMG! You & I would clean OUT Michael's! I'm notorious for buying like a maniac in there AND Hobby Lobby! Hope your Labor Day weekend is absolutely perfect! LOVE YOU TIMES A MILLION!

Viv, it is soooooooo easy to get carried away when shopping at place like Michael's and JoAnn's. I don't have a Hobby Lobby close by but I hear they are the best...it's probably a good thing!!

Oh my gosh, I love that owl, Viv! Actually, I like all the things you picked up. I got my supplies for the witch's hat at Hobby Lobby, but I still want to hit Michael's to see what they've got. I may find more goodies for Debby there, in addition to those I found at Cracker Barrel the other day.

I definitely would have bought that owl...OMGoodness! How cute! Do you ever wonder just what crafters will come up with each year? Just when you think there couldn't possibly be anything new...someone knocks one out of the ballpark! Pinterest amazes me...all the wonderful ideas just there for the stealing...uh, borrowing! =D

Hi sweet Viv!
Oh...I do that, too! I'll carry a book or craft around and then talk my self out of it..."Oh, I can make this."
You will make one...and, I jmust know he will be twice as cute as the one that rode around in your cart!
Have fun, my adorable friend!
Blessings,
Carolynn xoxo

OOH! Craft supplies!!!! Nothing I like better...I went crafting too, to JoAnn's where I spent about 4 hours diddling over EVERYTHING, then on to Michael's, Saver's, Target, and ToysRUs. Yep, you never outgrow your need for TOYS! Especially Liv dolls. LOL Got some good buys at JoAnn's and Michael's and added to my craft book library. Yeah, I'm also a craft book-aholic! Totally tired myself out. But, ain't we got fun Viv!!!!!!!!!

So FUNNY! I saw the same little owl and carried him around the store until I thought, "I could probably make this...I have tons of old zippers."
But, like you said, WHEN will I do it?! LOL. It took me a year to get to the LAST project I wanted to recreate! But, today, it is done at last!
