just another monday morning..

Another monday morning..  wow.. they always come so fast!    And friday always seems to come so slow!
I had a pretty laid back weekend.  Saturday night one of my best friends and my daughter and I went to see
Les Mis... finally...    It was really good.  I thought they could have used someone other then russell crowe in his part,  but other then that.. I loved it.
Yesterday I had company all day.. my two besties came over and we had a little tea party! It was nice to  just sit around talking and relaxing.  After they left, Bethany and Torry pie came over til about 8:00 last night. Torry is always very entertaining, he is the happiest little guy, and he cracks me up!  not to mention that he is freaken the cutest little thing!  I am blessed with the most adorable grandbabies!  (i know biased..)
so all in all,  it was a very pleasant weekend.
I managed to get all my valentine cards and packages packed up and ready to go in todays mail.. Now the hard part.. getting myself to go to the post office!
I dont know why that is always such an ordeal for me.  but its is.
I think I am officially done creating Valentines.  I usually make cards for all my kids but I dont think they care that much about them, so I think this year, I'll just make them cookies and that can wait til next weekend.
I hope everyone has a good start to the week!
Happy Monday!

I'm glad you got to see friends over the weekend! One of these days, my Vivvy-pie, I'M gonna be the friend you hang out with! I JUST love you! Oh! And I finally finished making the Barnes & Noble kiddos their Valentines. Whew! It's a wonder I have ANY vision left.

Happy Monday, dear Viv! I don't believe you are done with Valentine crafting. Just when I think I' done, I find one more thing I want to make. I'm praying this week is an easier one at our house. Last week was too much stress and sickness. Hugs!

Vivian, I am so ashamed of myself and my Vday swap crafts this year. I don't know why my brain was thinking teeny tiny! The ones you have made in the last post are so so so beautiful! Inspiring Viv, that's what you are! PS My packages go out Friday. E

Viv,
Those boxes are adorable...you know if you buy the postage online or check the price online and add stamps, they pick them up at your door????? I HATE going to the post office, where I live too many elderly people not knowing what they are doing! lol

Those packages are inspiring and adorable! Sounds like a wonderful weekend you had and I hope standing in the line at the post office wasn't too bad. We try to avoid Mondays and Fridays there as we're in the midst of our winter season and the line at the p.o. is almost as long as at Christmas.

Sounds like a wonderful weekend....
I wish I could keep making more valentines...but it is getting too close now. I hate to see the pink and red go though...now off to play with pastels and easter. hugs, cherry

You are one busy girl, Viv! You always make time for the loved ones in your life.
I love your polka dots and, of course, the fact that they are printed on such a pretty red background.
Smiles, my sweet friend,
Carolynn xoxo
