bunnies and leprachans oh my!

bunny cart
Hi bloggy pies! boy did this past weekend fly by fast.  I really didnt do much, mostly stayed close to home.  I was supposed to have company sunday but they cancelled.  I saw most of my kids and the babies though, so that made up for it.
Ive been working on some easter and saint pattys things.  some of which I cant show yet because they are for swaps.  but I can show you these two little things.  I have this jar full of little miniature boyds, cottage collectables, and gund bears, bunnys, cats and mice that I used to collect that I dont put out anymore.  sometimes I use them to alter and change up a bit.  which is what I did with this bunny above and cat below.  didnt they turn out cute?  the bunny cart I made out of a paper mache egg that I painted pink and then used pink martha stewart flocking on it.  have you ever tried that stuff?  its fun to play with!
st pattys friend
I only did a couple swaps this time around.  two easter swaps and one st pattys swap.  I was feeling a bit swapped out!  I get that way every now and then.. skip a couple then jump back in.  Im having fun with the easter spoolie swap which is what inspired the st pattys spoolie too!
IN other news.. I wanted to show you the easter house that Kim K sent me!  isnt it wonderful?   I should have taken out in the kitchen to take the pictures as its dark on the mantle, but Im pretty sure you can see how sweet it is.  Thank you so much Kimmie!  I just love it!

So, my easter decorations are all out now.  and I wont have to put them away for a good month.  which is good because I'm not in any hurry to remember how my house goes for spring!   lol!

I love that paper mache bunny cart..You did a great job on that! I'll have to try that flocking stuff sometime. I only joined one swap online because I had another swap going on with my girlfriends. I've been pretty busy ...so busy that I was afraid of the pressure of too many swaps....now I have a lil grandbaby that needs my devoted attention :) ...he's such a cutie:)
Kims little bunny house is adorable! Lucky girl you are..

I just knew you read blogs at work! Too funny you are. Your St. Patty's bear is so cute, he makes me laugh! Flocking! I could not figure out how to make it work. Do you paint first and then sprinkle like glitter? Mine came out looking like The Mange!
Be sure and check out Paint'n Patti's spool idea. It is so you! Have a good week Viv! E

I have missed your sweet creations. Being buried in my life and trying to dig out has had me preoccupied. THings are moving in the right direction now and hopefully only up from here as it has been very low lately. I start my new job on monday as a seasonal flower director at a local landscape co. Back to my horticulture roots..I'm excited. Renee
