YUP! its party time! tomorrows my birthday!
Unlike some people who like to stop having them and try to play them down.. I'm alll about them!
I like to live it up for my birthday..
in fact, the older i get,
the longer I think I should celebrate..
I should have the whole month of October.. the month of Vivian.
I have a friend who has all of Feb as her month..
I think my family should spoil me rotten all month long.. every single day..
you know, bring my presents, take me out to eat, bake me cupcakes,
bring me presents and brownies, feed me ice cream,
give me money and send my shopping...
bring me presents... do all my housework,
clean out my car..
and I think I should be given the whole month off from work..
and.. I think I should get to spend at least a couple weeks at the ocean..
or the lake in a cozy cottage,
full of all the most perfect craft supplies
and inspirational magazines
and presents!
Yeah.. thats how it should be.

I dont think my family quite has all that in mind though!
Thats ok though..
I'm just happy to have a birthday..
and look at all my little buddies...
all around my house
that have their hats on and
are ready to party with me!!
so.. happy 49th to me! I plan on having a great birthday weekend!

I am going to have a little bit of apple crisp though!

Well... personally... I think your ideas for your birthday sound completely reasonable. A birthday month? Yup. Sounds fine to me!
Unfortunately for me, my birthday is in December, and I think someone else's birthday kinda takes precedence over lil ole me;)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VIV! I hope you DO celebrate ALL through October! I SO agree! Most holidays - while AWESOME - belong to EVERYONE. But a person's BIRTHDAY is JUST FOR THEM! It should be special, wonderful, and SHOW the celebrant how much he or she is loved & valued! I don't think ANYONE outgrows that desire to be celebrated! I'm releasing the balloons over here!
