teddybears and dinosaurs.. oh my...

bears to alaska
I dont know why, but making these bears took me forever!  I know Ive been busy with lots of stuff going on in regular life.. but believe me there was a lot of procrastinating going on as well.  I have to say if felt sooo good to get these finished!  They are on their way to Alaska now.
Next bear order is out of a wedding gown which I hope to get to this weekend.  then I have a lttle patriotic bear marching around in my head for myself!
I am so ready to start patriotic crafting!  I'll be having a crafting weekend at my aunts cottage the weekend of june 21st.. anyone of my crafty bloggy pals that want to make the trip here is welcome to come!  Wouldn't it be awesome if all of us could get together to play someday!
So in other news...
I'm down another 2.4 pounds this week!  only point 2 pounds short of 30 pounds.. still want to lose a lot more.. such a slow process.  but I shall keep on keeping on!  I'm enjoying the process to tell ya the truth. And I feel good, which is a huge benefit.  I need to start getting in some exercise though.. Ive not been doing much of that at all.

after torry went home.
heres a little smile picture for you!  after weight watchers I stopped at torry pies house last night.  When ever I go there, he wants to come home with me and last night was no exception!  He told me he was going to grammie pies house to eat pizza!  (we had tacos though! lol)  well, you know me... I cant refuse that awesome fun little face!  so I took him home and gave him the dinosaurs that I bought for the dinosaur garden.  When he left this is what i found on my couch!  I so want to make them all party hats and tie little ribbons on them,  give them little balloons and pose them around a cupcake!  And, the one whose hands are up should be holding a little birthday package!  Cant you see that?   but these dinos are destined for the garden not a party.  lol!

Anyways.. today is wednesday... only three days til the weekend.  Im thinking sunday could actually be my first beach day of the year!  fingers crossed!
and.. something special is going on today.. and I will have something to share with you later!  woohoo!
happy Day bloggy pies!

The bears are darling! I'm sure it does feel good to cross something off the list! Your grands are too funny...I'm thinking they might get that trait from you!!

Lucky is the recipient of these too-cute-for-words bears! Your work is always amazing! The fencing in your garden is a great touch..love that look. Every time I visit here, I have to catch up on your posts and then I spend time visiting some of the blogs on your sidebar.
You are an inspiration for WW! I need to lose some "extra baggage"....summertime is hard for me cause there is so much good food around!
Happy Wednesday!

PS...I loved your advice about my mantel. I'm hoping to get a post up today about the re-do. Several of my blogging pals gave me some great ideas! Thanks for taking the time to help me.

Your bears look great. I'm sure you feel good about a job well done:) I am so envious of your weight loss. I do not have any self control! I have not tried WW, so maybe it's time to start. Have a great day!

You are doing such a great job with your weight loss, Viv. Such an inspiration to all of us. You are so good to your grands. I can just imagine the dinosaurs having a festive party. I'm definitely ready to get out the red, white and blue. I hope you can get to the beach this weekend. Our temps don't look to be beach worthy for this weekend, but at least it won't be snowing. Happy Wednesday!

I'm still chuckling about the dinosaur birthday party...lol! When my younger son was little his favorite toys were a GI Joe George Washington and an 18" T Rex. He was always staging battles. "Who would win in a fight...T Rex or George Washington?" T Rex of course! He often fell asleep cuddling T Rex in his arms...sweet baby! =D

SOOOOOO proud of my Vivvy-Pie's weight loss progress! You're amazing! AND beautiful! As for the bears - what a HAPPY momento for the recipient. I wish I had a piece of clothing from my best friend's deceased hubby - just the sweetest, most good-hearted man EVER - so I could commission a bear for her. But I don't. (Sad face.) As for the dinosaurs - HAHAHAHA! I think the birthday idea is GREAT!!!! I love you, Viv! (Bet you already knew that, huh?)

Well, I hate when you leave us hanging like that...what is going on there? Huh???? Those bears are so cute and I hope you do get to making a patriotic one-after the wedding gown job.
Good for you for the 30# Great job-not an easy one but I know how good you feel.
Hope you had a great day- xo Diana

Oh my gosh, Viv! I'd love to come craft with you one of these days. Maybe on one of my trips back to Connecticut, I can take a detour...
