Didnt do much this weekend.  shopped a little bit on saturday, but really didnt buy much, at least nothing special. There was nothing I was dying to have I guess..
Yesterday I stayed in all day.. barely even puttered..   I made a couple new ornies for my patriotic tree.  tried needle felting something and Im not liking how its turning out.  I'll keep farting around with it and see if I can redeem it somehow. And maybe show you when its finished.

Your tree is very spirited! As soon as Josie's birthday flamingo tree is done, I'll be bringing out the patriotic decor. Your swap last year provided all kinds of delightful goodies. Have a good week. Baby Jacob is certainly on my mind.

Your patriotic tree is the bee's knees!!! So cute! I haven't put my 4th of July decorations out yet. Probably this next weekend.

I love the patriotic tree! It would give me the opportunity to find or make red/white/blue ornaments. I have the red/white tree from valentines that would work. Thanks for the fun pics and I hope you have a good week health- and family-wise.

I hear you....for me I know it is the 100+ degree heat.....I love your tree! I just don't decorate like I used to, don't have near as good of a time getting it all out and up, so I quit doing it....but I can come and enjoy yours anytime I want! :) And yours is cuter! I am sure part of this is your anxiety about sweet little Jacob....it has to be hard Viv....Hugs, Sandy

Yeah Vivian! This is just the inspiration needed to think of anything to make for the 4th. I love the little cones - must make many! I always can count on a smile when I visit here. Have a great week! E

Even though you're still not feeling 100%, that patriotic tree looks mighty festive Vivian. Hope you start feeling like your old self soon.
