playful children!

md 1
Remember yesterdays picture?  Well here they are now!  eiy yie yie!  still all nuts!
md 3
When they were kids, whenever we used to go shopping, they would all four sneak off.. (naughty right?)  but never to far away, Id find them all pretending to be mannequins!  It was like their favorite way of surviving shopping trips with me.  Oh and there was more, they used to follow behind me in a single line like a row of ducks or the vontrapp family!  shortest to tallest and sometimes tallest to smallest!  and Id walk ahead of them saying.. "hey you guys, knock it off.. omgosh.. youre all insane....etc."  we would get lots of lookers laughing!

so anyways they were doing their mannequin poses and then trying to teach the others to do them.
Again, I think my neighbors were wondering what was going on with all the hysterical laughter!
I hope everyone had a great mothers day.  we did!
and guess what they gave me?  A beach bag with brand new beach towels and a parking pass into any state park for a year!  that means I dont have to pay the 7.00 into the beach every time I go all summer long!  woohoo!

isnt marlaina beautiful!?
have a great day everyone!

Sounds like a perfect mother's day. Love the gift of summer-long beach trips. Woo hoo! My grandparents owned a woman/children's clothing store and my sister and I would climb up into the front store display windows and pretend to be mannequins. I totally get it. Tee hee.

LOL! It's fun that your kids still like to "strike a pose" and are passing along the tradition to others!

Oh Viv, that granddaughter is gorgeous! I have to tell you my shopping experience with my kids; my first marriage was to an Iranian, so both my children were a bit darker skinned than I and they both had these huge brown eyes (like cows). Everywhere I took them they were pinched and poked by ladies exclaiming how adorable they were. They were given money and kisses like they were famous, but the most annoying question I was often asked was "whose children are you babysitting?" I always replied "mine" but the looks were always unbelieving.

So happy your day was special, like you.

Big Hugs,
Meri

Your kids are so beautiful! Whenever I go grocery shopping, my kids always sneak off to the junk food aisle and I would find them with evidence of chocolate on their lips. I'm glad you had a nice Mother's Day! I wish you took pix at the doll show- but then I would be jealous that I couldn't buy everything.

Hugs!
