wow!

n
tv tree (one of my four halloween trees)
wow wow wow! being on facebook sure gets you a lot of happy birthday wishes! (here too!) but on face book there must be about 150 of them! Sweet! So to celebrate my birthday today, Bethany and Torry pie brought over a little gift and a card that Torry colored on and some cupcakes and we had Tacos! I know.. sort of weird for a birthday dinner, but were celebrating over the weekend and I love tacos! crown around tree
(halloween crown that I made last year works as a tree stand!)
I havent even mentioned about this coming weekend yet on here have I? well, My aunt has an awesome cottage on Seneca lake and 3 of my dear crafty girlfriends and I are going friday thru sunday for a weekend of crafting and relaxing! I cant wait. I'll be spending the weekend with my girlie pies, Sandy and Brenda from here and my girlie pie Kelly, who I met on line several years ago on flickr. She and I have been able to hang out with a couple times now. She lives in Ohio and will be making the drive up on friday also. We are all looking forward to a weekend away. The four of us did this a couple years ago too, some of you might remember. It was a needlefelting crazed weekend! shelves (some of my precious halloweenies)
Just need to get through the next couple days. I've already packed up most of my crafting supplies.. very difficult to decide what to take and what to leave behind! but I think I've got it under control now. When we get back on sunday, we'll be having my birthday party with my family. Robert and Tiffany are having all of us over for dinner and cake at their new place. Then I have monday off..thanks to good old christopher columbus! I'll need that day off to recover from the weekend I'm sure. While I'm gone my husband will be ripping the bathroom out to put a new floor down. pray he finishes before I come home!! my spot
(my throne!)
so thats the scoop. Now.. since I am officially 52 now, I have to go pluck my beard and go to bed! thanks for all the birthday wishes! I love you all! sweet dreams!

So I'm a whole month older than you....wow! I don't know how that's possible when you're so gorgeous and young looking.

Just a thought, but wouldn't your kitty sculpture fit in with Halloween, too? He's kinda orange colored.

Hugs,
Meri

LOL ~ "pluck my beard" ~ you are too funny, Viv. It sounds like you had a wonderful birthday. Years ago, when I wasn't gluten free, I remember asking for Arby's for my birthday dinner. I love all your Halloween decor. You've got to smile every time you look at it. Have a great time on your girl's weekend. That's gotta be some drive for your Ohio friend. We moved to Ohio a year ago from New York and that's about a 12 hour drive.

Why is that as soon as the 50s come around we start falling apart? What's up with the chin hairs? YIKES!!!!! Nothing makes me feel older than chin hairs. LOL! My singing voice has started to crack and I end up singing low with the men at church. You...on the other hand...will stay young forever! Happy Birthday! =D

Hi Viv,
Just had the sweetest surprise of opening my mailbox to a box full of fun!
I'm not sure who all the other ladies who participated were, but just wanted to thank everyone. I think my kids had more fun than I did watching me sloooowly unwrap it all. Of course, they grabbed up the candy - little shits!
