hello... Im off the couch!

love bugs
hello dear bloggy pals!   I feel a bit behind, since I've been down with a flu or a bad cold or some sort of unpleasantness that robbed me of my energy and made me feel oh so tired!  but finally tonight, though not nearly back to normal, I feel well enough to not be lying on the couch with chills!  woohoo!
valentine treats
I have things to do.. things to do.. things to do!  Ive still to finish putting christmas away.  my craft room, bedroom and porch.. as well as outside.  but If I can get my craft room and bedroom done tonight I will be happy!  I will get it done because theres really not that much in either room.
lovey bear
then.. I can finish with valentines decorating.  I've puttered a tiny bit here and there.  but should be able to finish up in an hour or so..  I think..
kitchen valentine friends
The biggest job I have to do is to change up that big shelving unit over my couch.  After packing christmas away, those shelves are pretty empty!  hopefully I shall play there tonight too.

And... I have a couple projects that are birthday pressies for natalea and Sandy... needing to be finished up and packed for the mail....

(since I started this post, I manage to get a few things done.. not all that I wanted to and now I'm exhausted.. but a little bit of puttering in my craftroom and kitchen..

Feel better and take it slow....I know that is hard for you. So much cuteness going on in that Whim household.

Hi,
I hope you feel better soon. I heard on Good Morning America that 80% of the country is affected by the flu this year and they are urging anyome that hasn't had the flu shot to get it and urging the elderly, the young, and the pregnant ladies to take anti-viral meds. Take care and can't wait to see what all you create for Valentine's Bay!
Hugs,

Don't over do it or you will make yourself feel worse. Stay in bed tomorrow and be waited on hand and foot.

Vivvy-pie, here's what I say (for all it's worth): SLOW DOWN. REST!!! I also hate being sick because I think it 'wastes my time'. But, having JUST gotten over the flu, I know it doesn't help one bit to try and do too much before you're really well. I can speak only for myself, but I believe all of your friends and your family would consider your HEALTH the best gift you could give them. LOOOOOVE YOU!

Feel better, Vivian! Accomplish what you can. Sometimes I think we can tire ourselves out just with the lists of things we have to do! Love all your Valentine's pieces. Instead of watching television last night, I got my butt in my craft/sewing room and made up some things for my Etsy for Valentine's Day. I feel like it puts me ahead a little bit for today, since I actually have to clean this place. : )

Aww thanks for making me something :) I noticed some of my creations in your pix. I just put away Christmas into 6 bins and I cried and swore the whole time..lol! Now the house is a blank canvas- ready to be splashed with pink and red. I won't decorate 'til Jan 14th though. Have a great day!

So sorry you've been so ill, Viv. With everything that's going around I know it does suck the life right out of you! I've got some allergy stuff kicking up and boy, I could just sleep all day and never get ANYTHING done at all! Hopefully, healthy will be how we are all feeling soon!! LOVE you Valentine decor! So many darling items. That little grey kitty that looks to be needle felted caught my eye ...
