They're going... going....

but not quite gone!

Its been a long week! but finally friday is here. Thank God. I do love my weekends. Lets see.. what can I tell you about this week? Early in the week the little naughties discovered my bed! I woke up one morning and found a bunch sleeping with us! Actually what woke me up was Frannie tattling! mew mew mew.. mew mew mew... standing on my chest.. poking me in the face. I'm sure she was saying.. hey get up and get these little suckers (literally) out of here! Not to mention that figgy was lying on the end of my bed and I think he may have been batting them about a bit! At least thats what if felt like before I fully awoke and realized what was going on! So I got up and put them back in the kitchen. It was at that time, that I realized that I could no longer confine them, because they could get out! The next morning I woke up to the exact same routine! and then when I got home from work that night I found all of them on my bed! the next night there was a parade straight through the house into my bedroom... Frannie leading them all.. one after the other they followed behind her and jumped up on my bed, where she proceded to open the lunch counter for all to eat! It was pretty funny. they really have not been nursing much anymore. Frannie was starting to hiss at them and swat at them when they would try to attach themselves to her. Theyve been eating on their own really well. Anyways.. all of this to say, it was time to start letting them go. the first went wednesday night. My son and his girlfriend took one.. and then tonight three went. A girl from work and her two kids came and took two little girls and then another girl from work came and took one. So.. we are left with three. QUite honestly I dont think that Frannie and figgy even really care that they are gone. OF the three little males left, one will go probably in the next couple days and then the other two are my daughters and they will stay here the month, until she moves. Its hard to let the sweet little things go.. but they have been wrecking havoc here big time! there were 9 cats here! way too many. I was going to keep one, but decided not too.. She'll have another litter and I may keep one then. But for now Figgy and frannie are plenty. not to mention my hubby really didnt want me to keep one. And you know, once in a while I have ot let him have his way! but only occasionally!

Basically I havent done much this week. I ve puttered about a bit, I had a teddy bear order that I finished and never took a picture of! and Ive been playing in my easter decorations. I have swap things to work on this weekend and some fun things planned as well. Tonight I went out with 8 girlfriends for dinner and had a blast. Tomorrow will be a crafting day and sunday I'm going to see Alice in Wonderland at the IMAX with my daughters and Natalea (kandeland) and Jenny (be cheery)! And then out to dinner probably to the cracker barrel. Well, thats all for now guys.. its after midnight and I am pooped! so off to bed I go!
Oh, and just so you know, I've been reading everyones blogs all week long on my google reader, so dont think I've been ignoring anyone.. I'm here... just reading.. not commenting much. I just wanted to get caught up!
HUgs and goodnight!

Nine little fuzzies. You are a good woman. And on that subject I want to thank you for my sweet care package. It was so nice to come home and find it waiting for me. I can't wait to use the clips on my tree.Hugs, Terri

Even though I'm not a cat person, those babies are darling! And how sweet that they started following you to the bedroom. They wanted you to be their replacement mommy.

I LOVE your cat stories! We have three... a 6yr old bluepoint himy (who is HUGE... not fat, just a big muscular boy, but he' a TOTAL baby); a 6yr old Maine Coon mix; and another Maine Coon mix kitten. Just ONE kitten keeps us on our toes, I can't imagine SEVEN! =)

I am glad that you aren't having empty house syndrome with the kitties leaving. It's kind of like kids I guess...you don't think you will be ready for them to grow up and leave, and when they finally do, it's a relief.hehe I hope you have a fab weekend, have fun at Alice, let me know how it is.

They are so sweet! But kittens, especially that many, can make your life a bit crazy!

I am sure they will all love their new homes.

What a funny way to wake up- with a kitty telling you they've overtaken your bed! :) They know the Big Kitty sleeps there! :) Oh... I have a problem forgetting to take pictures of my completed projects, too! I don't know how many times I've sent things away for swaps without snapping a picture first :) I hope you had a great time at Alice in Wonderland!! Have a wonderful weekend :)

Oh I'm afraid I would keep them all!
I came home and found "fun" mail awaiting me. Hubbie had opened all the yuckie mail.
Thank you for the valentine. I just love those sweet little faces.

Ooooo those sweet little faces... I can't even imagine having to let them go... That is until you think about having THAT MANY cats in your home at one time, lol!

Oh my gosh, they are so cute! I'm glad I don't live close enough to adopt! :) I just got out your chickie box, too! One of my faves. Yes, I'd be up for a bracelet or charm swap whenever you are ready. You pick a theme or whatever or color!
