still nesting here....

see??? still nest obsessed!!
but really Ive had this on my dresser with these babies in it for a long time...
All tiny babies that Ive picked up at some local doll shows over the years.. there is another doll show coming up on May 11th.. so I'm hoping to find another tiny treasure .. You know me.. I just love the littlest things!
so.. Happy WEEKEND!!
Ive been on call this week and I have to admit though not as busy as some others, it was stressful..  I always wish I could give details here, but I cant.   just know that some people really should never have kids.. and that my heart just breaks for some children.    I wish every child could have a happy, secure childhood.  Believe me, its not always about physical abuse.. sometimes living with unstable people can do so much damage.

SOOO..  anyways.. enough of that..
thank god... its the weekend!

Tonight I'm going shopping with Bethany and Torry pie..
I need some new shoes!
and the rest of the weekend is open for whatever I feel like doing..  I'm having brunch with Natalea tomorrow.  I cant wait to see her as we havent gotten together since before Halloween!!!
Then, the rest of the weekend I'll probably work in the yard and on those bears.....

You have a very sweet collection of dolls. They look rather cozy in their nests. Enjoy the weekend. It sounds well earned after this week of being on call. Happy Friday!

What a darling idea! I have tiny 'people' & I MAY just have to put THEM in nesties! Glad the stressful week is at an end. And SUPER glad you & Nat will meet up tomorrow. Tell her to fill you in on my private news. She'll know what you mean. HAHAHA! Oh, and expect a lil' box today from someone who is not NEARLY as clever & creative as you, but who adores the daylights out of you. P.S. I wish with all my heart & soul that the little girl Kai had known someone like you. It would have made my childhood a MILLION times better! I just LOVE you!

Some of my favorite vintage illustrations feature babies in nests. So very, very sweet! I love the quirky way you decorate with your treasures. Can't wait to see your swap post. =D

Your babies are very cute all cuddled up in their teeny tiny little nests and then I see the bird about to carry them all off to who knows where?.....Oh dear! (I hope it's a nice birdie). :)

I know you can't write about the stressful situations you deal with, but I know exactly what you speak of. I've been the children's lawyer in some of these cases and if I didn't see some of the stuff with my very own eyes, I almost wouldn't believe it. Whenever things are going not so great in my own life, if I stop for just a minute to remember some of these children and what they live with, I remember that really, I have NO problems.

On a much lighter note: Have great fun with Natalea!
