playing around

Just been playing around trying to decorate my blog for christmas a little bit! My computer is home, but I havent hooked it up yet. Im afraid Im going to have to download a few programs and that kind of stuff always makes me nervous. So I'll wait til tomorrow and get one of my kids to do it!
I went to my quilt guild christmas luncheon today and then went shopping with my girls for a little while this afternoon. I have both the girls finished, but the boys and their father... I just dont know what to get for them. I bought them clothes so far, but how boring is that. Bethany is getting the biggest surprise this year. Something she has always wanted. Cant say what it is.. just incase she reads this! I have it hiding in my craft room, which she wont be allowed in til Christmas morning. I hope she likes it. cant wait to show you what it is!

I hope my partner recieved her already and this doesnt spoil her surprise. And the one above is from the Christoween swap hosted by ...
I really love how both of these turned out.. I hope my partners do too!
The bears below were made for someone that just lost her husband. Made out of his shirts. I hope they are loved by whoever recieves them. Im working on 5 elves that will be dressed in someone elses husbands clothing as well.

I have so many pictures to take of things I've recieved lately and of my decorated house. Now that my computer is home, I'll be able to upload my pics again! yippee!

Tomorrow is my daughter Bethanys 24th birthday. She and I are going to see Jennifer in the musical production of scrooge. Jen is playing the part of Belle, the woman Scrooge was in love with when he was young. HOpefully I will be able to take pics and maybe video part of one of the scenes she's in.

I've been trying to catch up with you all.. not an easy feat! Some of you are very prolific! I'm so impressed by everyones Christmas decorations and art work.. there is sooo much inspiration out here.. it just amazes me. And, I'm expecting so many wonderful packages in the mail with in the next week or so.. Elves from my elf partners.. I recieved one yesterday.. OMG.. thats all I can say.. wait till you see them all.. Everyone who joined this swap is super talented. I've got Elizabeths tag book coming.. cant wait.. ornie swaps on the way.. altered doll.. christoween doll.. and I won a copy of blissful blogging from the awesome happylovesrosie! So I've got lots to look forward to!

OK.. I ve rambled on long enough.. is anyone still with me? one more thing.. I do think that Frannie is probably pregnant. Remember they are not related, the girls I work with keep saying that I'll have mutant kittens.. theyre just playing.. but I purposely got them unrelated so if I decided to, that we could have kittens. I just hadnt planned on it being quite so soon! Frannie was born the last week in march. So she will be about 10 months old when she has them.

REINDEER GAMES!

HI all my sweet, fun, creative, kind, wonderful bloggy pals!!! I've got pictures for you tonight!

These Pics are a labor of love. I borrowed my daughters Mac.. and uploaded the pics onto her computer.. then downloaded them to flickr.. and then over to here!what a pain. The mac is just different then what I'm used to using and was a little confusing.. it took me forever!

But arent these pictures cute? They are from thanksgiving night. Jennifer and I bought about 10 sets of reindeer antlers and noses at the christmas tree store and we had a riot with them. When I get my computer back, I'll upload a video that was really funny! Were going to take them with us on christmas to my mother in laws too.

Even the animals got in on the fun.

These are two of my closest friends, beckie and Sandy. Our families are close and we spend lots of holidays together.

The guys werent into this as much as then girls.. but my son Tony was a good boy and I got some cute pics of him and his girlfriend!

Dan, the guy that is fixing my computer called today and said that I need a new hard drive. So hes gonna fix me up and brought me over a nice loner computer to use til he gets me back up and running. he said it would only be a few days. I cant wait to have my baby back!

I got all my swaps mailed out yesterday and today. I have a few pics to show.. but thought that I would save a few things for another post...

so.. on that note.. I think I'll do a little blog hopping! I'm so far behind! maybe over the weekend I can get a little more caught up.

I'm going nuts without my computer! I finally called and left a message this morning.. I didnt hear back from him yet though. I'm tryinig to be patient.. I know they just lost their son and are struggling and I dont want to put any pressure on him.. well, I do.. but I wont.. you know what I mean. I really need my computer though.
well thanks for sticking with me... sorry I've been so whinny and boring...

some good news though! I lost another 3.2 pounds last week.. for a total of 26.8 now! woohoo!!
I have all my swaps done.. and most of them out in the mail.. two left going out in the morning.
My house is all decorated. no tree yet though. maybe this weekend. I cant believe there are only 22 days til Christmas! I still have a bit of shopping to do. I dont feel like I have a great handle on it this year.. (the shopping) I'm not even sure what to give anyone.. I do have my girls done. I havent even bought any christmas cards.. and honestly I'm not sure I'm going to send any this year. isnt that pitiful? who knows.. maybe I will at the last minute.
well I suppose I should head back down stairs.. I think I'm going to eat something!
