"OK.. now that she took them from us, I guess we need to find something else to do.. see anything interesting Frannie?"

"yeah, Figgy, more pipecleaners here.. I think I can get them.. hang on a minute!"

"UH OH! caught again! but.. its ok.. shes looking for something to distract us with, maybe she'll dig all those mice out from under the entertainment center. or give us treats... "

they are into everything.. nothing is safe.

but they are soooo freaken cute and I love them to pieces.

morning blogville!

Good morning all you sunny shineys! (?) I dont know. I just say things like that.. ask my kids. They have quite a few impersonations they do of me that make me sound very silly! I should video tape them sometime.. I know youd get a good laugh out of it.. I always do.

Anyways, I did finally get around to making a little st pattys garland this weekend. It turned out soooo cute and as you can see it was oh so simple! I think everyone should make one! I'm going to make another one to send to my friend Kelly for our saint pattys day swap. oh, btw you know how I was just talking about saying weird things, I often mix words up too (NOt on purpose!) and I recently called st pattys day.. "thanks pattys day!" I dont know why, things just get twisted up in my brain and then dont come out of my mouth right!

I did manage to get all my easter stuff put out.. It is a big job, but so worth it in the end! My sons girlfriend came in the house the other day and immediately noticed and she giggled and said (in her cute little voice) "OH vivvy, what have you been doing! youre so cute!". I love getting that kind of reaction and thats part of what makes all the decorating so much fun. I know, though they would never admit it that even the guys appreciate it! but I do have to admit that one time when I was asking little tony to put all of his toys away He asked me, "mommy why do we have to put our toys away and you get to keep yours out?" I didnt have a good answer for that!


I said something along the lines of, but my things are for all of us to enjoy and then he said, "well you can play with my toys if you want too!" speechless I say.

So anyways.. all the easter stuff is out and Ive found that I will need to have some more eggs to fill a little fenton milk glass basket. I cant help it, the basket has been sitting empty on a shelf in the living room for years and I just heard it calling to me while I was decorating.. "hey! fill me up with pretty eggs and move a little so I will be noticed!" I"m telling you, it did say that to me! I know, I wasnt going to buy any other easter stuff this year, because I didnt think I needed any.. but I think I need some new eggs! though, now that I think about it, I do have a big bag full of those litte plastic eggs that you fill with candy and goodies for the kids for easter, I could decopage a bunch of them.. uh.. yeah, or I could just buy some already decorated ones and dump them in the bowl!

I need to go shopping!

OK.. whose dumb idea was this?

I dont know what possesses me sometimes.. I finally packed away alllll the valentine sweets this morning.. and then I was faced with trying to remember what my house is supposed to look like normally. Well, I couldnt remember and was going to have to dig through stuff that was put away and would just be getting easter stuff out in another week or so anyways.. sooo...

I thought I might just as well get it out now.. AFter all , there is sooo much really really cute stuff and it seems such a shame to have such a wonderful collection of stuff to store it away alllll year long to only enjoy if for a couple weeks. right????


So.. its out and mostly unpacked on the kitchen table..

and now I have to figure out where to put it all...

I think I have a sickness.. I am not buying anything else for easter this year...

well, except that I am going to order a set of easter candylight lights.. (as soon as I'm done posting this!)

did I tell you that I ate breakfast 3 times already this morning!?

uh huh..

I shared a piece of peanut butter toast and a banana with buffy the bird..

then a while later I had a bowl of special K with blueberries on it, that I shared with figgy...

then a little later I ate two brownsugar poptarts!! (I did not share these..)oh soooo naughty..

well, I did get up at 5:00am.. (I dont think that justifies 3 breakfast's though!! I know.. good try right?)

OK.. back to the easter disaster in my kitchen..

I kind of have a little tummy ache.. probably from the whole pot of tea that I drank.. (couldnt be from eating breakfast three times.. ..)

Happy Friday!!! Its my favorite night of the week. Its like my whole being just goes.. AHHHHH! (thats a giant sigh!) with a whole weekend a head of me.. I love it!
Wanted to show you a couple things! Look what came as a total surprise in the mail this week from my dear friend Elizabeth! I just LOVE it. I dont have a lot of st pattys day decorations.. so I was beyond thrilled and surprised to find this little irish dancer on my door step! thank you Elizabeth!
And below, check out the wonderfulness I received from my buddy Debra schoch! we did a swap together and these delightful pieces were in the package she sent me. I LOVE them! And there were so many extra treats in her package as well!

So my agenda for this weekend is pretty simple.. put valentines away.. (BOOHOO!) Im not sure if I will get easter out yet.. but maybe. who knows.. if the mood strikes I just might! do you think its too early?

I have projects to work on , bear orders, st pattys swap, st pattys banner, and an easter tag swap. and Im cooking up a swap to announce here as well. An Easter Chick swap. Thinking of going with the Easter Parade theme. I will post about it over the weekend. just want to think it through a little more! Just hoping for a good turn out.

went out to dinner to bob evans with hubby tonight... oh yummy blueberry pancakes! I ate almost all of my giant "breakfast"! scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and two huge pancakes smothered in blueberries!

anyways.. thats all for tonight! Im off for a little camp out on the couch and a little cuddle with the kittens for a few minutes before I go to bed.

Good morning all! its almost the weekend.. almost.. just two more days of work. I really do love my weekends!

This is how I make my bed now.. I didnt use to fold the top part down, but it is pretty like that. though I have to admit it has nothing to do with the way it looks, its based on pure comfort.. someone I know likes to get under the comforter and cant do it if its pulled way up with pillows on top!

Theres something about siamese cats, They really like to be covered! only on their terms though, dont try to cover them.. they run away! but I am always finding figgy and frannie tucked in under afghans and blankets! isnt figgy adorable?

and look at frannie pie.. shes under the quilt on the back of the couch! peek a boo!!

And as long as were taking undercover pictures.. hers buffy this morning when I uncovered him.. I pulled back the sheet and he said "good morning buff!" lol! hes sooo freaken cute!
