These were taken after he tried to walk across the top of the curtain rod in my bedroom window.. and after I caught him in the cupboard with the pots and pans!

and that was after he woke us up with Frannie and he jumping on the water bed chasing a pipe cleaner that they brought up with them!

Its like having toddlers! I have to watch them alllllll the time!

And you should see them when I'm trying to sew by hand!

The bears were made from a 29 year old woman's clothing, who recently died of a brain aneurysm, she had 2 young children! How terrible sad..

so now that the bear order is done I can do what I want to do!

Its Thursday afternoon and I'm done with work til Tuesday am..

My plans??

to clean my house tonight.

to go to the grocery store early in the am..

to go to the beach tomorrow

and maybe again Saturday!

don't know about Sunday and Monday yet..

Husband will be away most of the weekend,

sooo... I can do what ever I feel like, whenever I feel like.

though, that's no different then any other time!!

I'm thinking to go to dinner with my daughters and to the movies.

actually I was thinking about that for sat. I thought the girls and I could spend the day at the beach, then go to dinner and to a movie..

haven't mentioned it them yet..

oh.. and.. to get caught up reading every ones blogs!

Well, I'm off to email all the Halloween swappers with their partners

and then to clean my house!

giveaway winner and stuff!

Here I am! Ive been busy in here.. working on a bear order.. I shouldnt be on the computer right now, because I seriously need to finish them.. There are five. I'll show you when Im done!

I bought another CHEAP set of shelves for my craft room and my daughter took her 4 bins of books out of the closet in here, so I have more storage room now! I love hanging out in here with my kitties!

I've not been a good blogger lately.. I recieved some things in the mail from people and I havent acknowledged to them that there were recieved yet!!! I've also been meaning to post these two pictures. The first one is of the goodies I won from Heather at SPeckled egg. I know I will use all the goodies she sent me. so much cuteness here! Thank you Heather! I need to pop over and let her know that the package came a couple days ago.. ( i should have let her know the day it came.. but Ive been soo busy!)

And the same with these goodies, I got in the mail the other day and still need to let my partner know they came! I recieved the book and collage from Emily We were in a swap that Kai hosted, a summer reading swap. Thank you to Emily and Kai too!

As for my swaps, they are now closed, except that I could use one more pinkeep swapper. anyone interested? or maybe one of you that are already signed up would like two partners? There will be Lots of halloween shadow boxes and halloween pinkeeps for everyone to look forward to seeing! lots of talented girls in this swap! Now its time to get busy!

Look at the kitty that came in the mail today.. Do you just love him?? I do! I recieved it from Judibird a very talented girl I met on flickr! We did a little 1:1 swap!

I wanted to blahg about blogging because Ive gone over the 300 posts mark now! we should get a little coin or something like they get at AA after theyve been sober for so long! heehee

I just have to say that there are the most wonderfully creative people out here in our blogland world... and the best thing about blogging is that we get to bump into them when we would probably other wise never have known that they existed!

Blogging enriches our lives and makes our great big world just a little smaller and brighter... I have gotten to know girls from canada, japan, singapore, italy, australia, Germany, spain, england, and turkey (I know Im forgetting some) And lets not forget the girls all across the states who all love to share their lives through the creativity of their blogs, through their stories, in their photographs and in their art. They inspire us, challenge us, and encourage us and pray for us! I recieved more love and support when I lost my precious old kitties this past year, from women all over the place, that knew exactly how I was feeling then I could have ever imagined. Sometimes its hard to keep up with all the blogs I love to visit and I'm always finding more and more that I want to read!!! There are sooo many out there!!Sometimes I can only stop by for a quick read through and dont have time to leave comments, but most of the time I do try to leave a thought or two, because who wants to blog if people arent reading and reacting to what we have to say!

sometimes when I'm reading a blog I think.. there is a person just like me somewhere out there documenting their days and thoughts into cyber space. And I wonder just who is this person that I'm reading about? If its a blog Ive been reading for a while, I can almost picture them doing their daily chores! I know they're living their lives as best as they can, loving their families, feathering their nests, wondering what to make for dinner, doing laundry, loving pretty things, being creative and wanting to connect with other women out here in this great big world. They all have ups and downs in their lives, some they share, most they probably dont. Some go off to work.. and I wonder what they do at their jobs.
Most of my friends dont "get" blogging at all. And, they think we're all goofy. (We probably are) But.. its ok.. cause we all know its fun to blog, and unless youre doing it, you probably wont understand it!

anyways, I'm just carrying on and on here arent I??? Are you still with me? I do often wonder why you ladies keep coming back.. I dont necessarily think i'm all that interesting! whatever it is, I'm glad you do!

SO.. in honor of my 300th post, I'm doing a giveaway! It'll be a teddy bear.. not sure what size, maybe tiny.. maybe big.. maybe in between.. but a bear it'll be. So leave a comment here.. and I will draw a winner monday night!

ARENT MY KITTIES REALLY FREAKING CUTE???
.. I think I'm getting another one! just shoot me, I must be nuts! I stopped at the vets yesterday to make an appointment for the naughties to get declawed.. (dont yell at me.. If they are going to live here, it has to happen.. I dont feel great about it either.. ) anyways the vet has the cutest little orange and white kitten that needs a home and he had to go and show it too me and tell me i should take him home! I talked to my hubby and oddly enough, he didnt seem to mind! I think hes greatful that Im not trying to bring home a dog!
OK.. I told ya to start.. this was a blah blah blah post!! I suppose I should end this here... so..
OFF I GO! gotta read a couple blogs and get some icecream!

hello all!

Finally getting back to make a post! I dont know what I've been doing, but I havent had a minute to post a new entry.. Just a couple beach pictures from saturday! We had a good time. An old friend met us there, that I haven seen in probably 5 years! It was good to see her! Another one of my friends met us there too with her daughter and grandbaby. He LOVED the beach! a boy after my own heart! Well really who doesnt love the beach!?





I've been working on my etsy site.. I need a banner. I think I'm going to have to get someone to make one for me. And I need a name for my site too. I want "whimsical " to be in the name. but I am struggling to come up with something!! I guess I could just go with Vivs whimsy. then I'm always at the end of anything alphabetical! so something like "A Whimsical... something.."

who knows.. maybe it doesnt matter and I should stick to something what works. I could call it the name of my memory bear business which is "Always RememBear."

Opinions, thoughts or ideas anyone?



mmmmm... look at todays treat! stopped and bought peaches on my way home from work today. So for dinner we had burgers cooked on the grill, fresh summer squash and peaches! Well, really, we didnt have peaches with dinner.. Technically, I had peaches before dinner.. do you think I could have some more peaches now and call it a late dessert? Gosh, I love those things!

YOu know I love the beach! Bethany and I are going and my dear friend Sandy and her daughter, grandson and son.
I ran to the city after work today to barnes and nobles to see if they had the new artful blogger.. they didnt! but I got these!
Perfect beach reading for tomorrow!
I have to remember to go get some Good sunscreen in the morning..
I'm a little obsessed at the moment making these little guys.. I'm gonna have to make a trip to hobby lobby this weekend to get more supplies!
yes girls.. my etsy is getting closer and closer... someday soon!

And so far for the swaps we have 9 shadow boxers and 6 pinkeepers! all great creative players.. I want them all for my partners! and have actually swapped with most of them before. I know a lot of you are on face book, I didnt want to be, but my daughter Bethany signed me up and now I go on there for a quick peek most every day.. but I do have to say that I found my sweet precious childhood friend on there!! what a treat! she lives in CO now. We have a phone date for tomorrow morning.. (before the beach!) so excieted to catch up with her.. Its been a lot of years! so face book has earned big points in my book.. just for that reason.

this is such a hodge podge post.. bits and pieces of nothing important! sometimes I wonder why anyone stops by to read this crazy thing! Oh and guess what.. this is my 300th post! I should probably do a give away.. but I dont know what to give . I have to think about it. I'm sure I'll post a giveaway of some sort with in the next few days! But I do want to thank you all for coming to visit me here.. I certainly wouldnt be posting here for the 300th time if no one was reading them! You guys rock..
