friday night photo shoot! lol!

AHHHHHH!!!!

its friday and its a three day weekend. I'm so looking forward to just being home. I got home tonight from work and instantly into some comfy cozy pjs! Then I cooked burgers. I had blue cheese, onions and roasted red peppers on mine. mmmmm yummie!

I tried to get Frannie and Figgy to take pictures with me.. We had a little photo shoot! but they really didnt cooperate well.

perhaps he stuck his sweet little foot in Buffy the birds cage

and got bit!

I havent really looked at his foot yet. I will in a while.

I doubt it has anything to do with the bird though..

Frannie is the one that gets a little close to the bird.

Plans for the weekend are as follows...

make loaded potato soup,

choc chip pecan cookies,

homemade bread...

and chicken salad with grapes and almonds.

I also need to clean the bathroom and my room.

Other then those things.. the rest of the time,

I plan on crafting my little heart out!

Making valentines, and valentine ornaments..

and a valentine doll

and a valentine bear!

and who knows what else!

I need to wrap and package my swappy ornaments

so they can go in the mail.

And, I have to take pictures of the things I made.

other they cooking, cleaning and creating,

I plan on relaxing with all my babies!

the furry ones yes,

but Im hoping this sweet little baby boy

will be coming to hang out with his grammie pie!

Please pray for a dear friend of the families, new born baby. born tonight, 3 months early. she wasnt supposed to come until about april 12th. this precious little baby girl weighs only 2lbs 3 ozs. PLease keep her, and her sweet parents in your prayers .
BY the way, the young man that I had asked you to pray for recently has made great strides.. please keep praying for him also.. He has beaten alot of odds, but has a very long road ahead of him. His name is Scott. the baby has a name.. but I cant remember what it is at the moment.

A TREASURE CHEST

Once upon a time... there lived a girl named Mica.. and she had a blog..

and one day on her blog she posted a picture of a little suitcase she had purchased somewhere. the case had been covered in pretty fabric or paper and had been decorated like a collage. It was so freaken cute!

I obsessed about it for days.. and then as soon as I could, I ran out and bought a little suit case and then to my favorite scrapbook paper store (buffalo stamps and stuff) to buy paper and embellishments and came right home and made my own!

I use mine to keep miniature bear supplies in. I just ordered some new fabrics last week adn they came yesterday, which is why I had my little case out today. I had to put stuff away!

While I had it out, I added my "block party square" from Elizabeth to the bottom inside of the case. I had been looking for just the right thing to put there!

and the little kitten pic came off of a birthday card that Cindy of thimbleprims studio sent me last year ! I hated to cut the card up, but I've had it hanging in my craft room since I got it, just waiting to go into the little suitcase!

I made the little bears and the monkey all years ago.

Actually, I've been thinking about making a new little monkey.. there has been one dancing around in my head for quite some time! a boy this time!

Anyways thats all really, just wanted to show this to you!

and this is what was in the package I just recieved! I feel some tiny teddies coming on!!

Dont you?? I'm thinking a little valentine bear may be in order..

Christmas is put away! Valentine stuff is out! needing a bit of tweaking here and there, but heck..

I have a whole month to get it the way I want it!

In a hurry. I wasnt going to go anywhere this weekend, but change of plans! I'm heading out to meet up with Natalea (Kandeland) and Jenny K (becheery) at the cracker barrel for a little afternoon visit! My house is still in need of vacuuming.. glitter everywhere! But it'll have to wait.

last night Bethany and Torry and my "sweet wittle gwanbuddy" came over for dinner and poor (big) torry ended up with red glitter all over his face!

And, I was just in the bathroom where I had hung a pretty red glittered bottlebrush heart garland over the window and there was red glitter all over the toilet paper! I think that is one place where glitter might not be welcome!

Isnt my birdie pie sweet? everytime I walk by him he says in the sweetest little voice.. "hello" or "goodmorn'n buffy". Hes so sweet and then he tries to bite your fingers off!

LOL!

OK.. I'm off.. gotta leave in 10 minutes and I'm not even dressed yet!
