fun with friends!

 

I had a great weekend. 

 

 Yesterday I hung out with two old friends 

from WAY long ago. 

  

We had a blast.. and we laughed are butts off!  

Was so great to see Bill and Claire again!

And.. on Saturday I had friends over too!

 

A little teaparty with just a few girls.. 

but a great afternoon of chit chatting!

And of course Marla pie was there... 

and that just makes me day!

  

Now its monday and back to reality... 

gotta weigh in tomorrow night, so I'm being good... cross your fingers that I made it down to an even 20 pounds...

NO crafting done this weekend.  Ive not done any crafting since before easter...   thats seems so long ago!  I do have plans for some crafting though... I need a trip to michaels!

Ive been getting my Torry pie and Marla pie fills this weekend.  I watched Torry last night and Marla today. And I had a tea party today besides!  Talk about pooped out !  lol! 

Tomorrow I'll be having company again.  Two friends from the really OLD days!  lol.. like from 1975ish!  woohoo!    Wouldn't you like to be a fly on the wall while we remenisce about those days!  We had some naughty fun back then.   oh the partys!  

So anyways.. I'm looking forward to seeing them.  I havent seen them in years. 

After tomorrow I'll probably start to consider packing easter away.  Ive been thinking about spring decorating and Im working myself up for a new obsession of spring Nests!  In fact I'm thinking about hosting a spring nest swap.  What do you all think of that idea?  I'm already doing a little one to one nest swap with Kim.  but thinking maybe others might be interested as well.

I also am getting ready to start a big bear order 

that came from Alaska!  7 memory bears. 

I'll be sure to post pics when they're finished.

though we started seeing each other 5 years before that in 1976!
I was only 16 years old, he was 20..
I dont know how my parents handled that.  LOL!  
this long haired biker came and wisked their oh so sweet and innocent little daughter away!

well, thats not exactly how it went.

but pretty close.

anyways... 

now 32 years has whizzed by.

hippity hoppity easters gone away...

I started this a couple weeks ago and planned on finishing it before easter, but then I didnt like my stitching on the eggs and am too lazy to tear them out and start over...  I couldnt decide which color thread to use on all the different colored eggs so I went with blue.  now I'm thinking I should have used pink. or gold.. or.. the color of each egg.   ♪♫ dum~de~dum ♫♪.. .. perhaps I'll put it away til next easter.  then I'll be surprised when I find it and excited to finish it.  right now.. its seems like work.

speaking of work...   I have to go there.. I'm always screwing around in the morning.. up at 5:00.. dont have to leave until 8:30.. and its always about 8:00 when in a panic I start getting ready! LOL!

so hi ho hi ho... off to work I go!

I hope youre getting a sunny springy day where ever you are.  the suns out here, but its only about 27 out~  supposed to get snow showers and be about 39 today.   However, tomorrow... 51 and SUNNY!  and I'm only working an hour and a half in the morning, then I'm off for the day to go see WICKED  (for the 4th time!)   I'm excited to go again, such a great show.

Good morning friends.. Thank you for your prayers yesterday.  I appreciate them, as I'm sure Tiffany and Robert did.  It wasnt as easy day for the kids or anyone else.  but we all know that this baby is with Jesus and will never know any suffering or sadness.. His life, Nathanial David's, will be lived forever in paradise.  And what could be more perfect?  Please  if you would, continue to keep them in your prayers as they continue to grieve over their loss.

In other news...  I can not believe that I havent gained any weight this past week.  I ate at Sandys birthday party,  I ate at my daughters for girls night and I most certainly ate for easter!   And, I ate out last night as well.  but I weighed myself this morning and I am actually down about two tenths of a pound.. (hey.. every tiny bit counts! LOL!)  Im glad I weighed myself... as I had considered eating cupcakes for breakfast!  

but that inspired me to stick too it! 

I shall behave.. oh yes I shall!
