care for a cupcake anyone?

cuppie cakes!

I had a wonderful mothers day. So very blessed with awesome kids!
family

Unfortunetly Tiffany (robs fiance) had to work, otherwise everyone would have been here! the kids brought over all the food, a ton of steaks, mushrooms, cheesy potatos, asparagus, rolls, buffalo chicken wing dip, ice cream cake! did I forget anything?
vanerssa and tony

oh yes.. gifts! and look at what Tony and Vanessa made me!! I was so impressed. they said they made three of these for what they would have paid for one. My little tony has a creative side to him!
they made this

so yummy!
jen and torry

and of course my little torry pie was here! the day was perfect!

did you see I finished my cuppie cakes tonight. frosted them with spackling!

I think i'll do a little tutorial this week and tell you how to make them, if you want to know. I think they turned out so cute!

Happy Monday everyone! I'm headed to the couch to do a little reading.. need to finish water for elephants so I can start my steven tyler book!

Huggles all!

hey! do these pictures seem bigger then usually? if you click on the on the second one, you will be able to see the whole picture.. blogger cuts half of us off!

How fun are those pictures. You have such a handsome family and I'm on pins and needles waiting to see how you made those cupcakes. I made felt cupcakes for Josie's stash of pretend food and your version is pretty darn impressive.

Ok, well that explains why my mouth is all dry after licking my computer screen! I thought those cupcakes were real, geesh, you could have warned me, LOL! Looks like you had a perfect Mother's Day. I had a great weekend too, despite the fact that both of my girls are 600 miles away in college. They both remembered to call and one even sent a card! Have a great week, hugs and blessings, Nan

Your family is the cutest! But that would NOT have surprised me even if I hadn't seen their photos before! Why? Because YOU are the SUPER CUTEST! So OF COURSE they're all cutie-pies! (I still just want to squeeze that sweet Torry. OMG! He's a lil' dumpling! I love him!) As for the cuppycakes, I can't TELL you how many times I've looked at the one you sent me, and TRIED to figure out HOW you did that! PLEASE, PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE WITH SPRINKLES ON TOP, tell us how to make them! (I'd get on my knees & beg, but at MY size & with my shattered kneecap, I'd NEVER get up! LOL!)
